We stayed at Tylene's when we couldn't find a room from Munising to Manistique. We were told about this place by another hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The motel was clean and very reasonable. The linens were outsourced and in good condition. The rooms appeared to have newer carpeting and paint. The water smelled rusty but ran clear. I would...

I miss the mom and pop type of motels. This certainly fits the bill. The rooms are small but are clean and the price was right. The owner was awesome and great to talk to. Stayed here for two nights when we had a wedding in Nahma, Michigan. Nice and clean. Owner was not creepy as previous review mentioned. Guided as to a good breakfast and very helpful. Would stay again .
