Just got home from overnight stay for my SPECIAL birthday! The "Charles" room was our bedroom for the evening, very spacious and all that you need. You step back into time when you enter this gorgeous home with its finery in furnishings and the charming, exquisite wood trim. Although situated on a busy road (US 12), road traffic is minimal...

I periodically travel to Coldwater, MI on business, and normally stay in one of the few local hotels. All hotels were booked, so I found The Chicago Pike Inn B&B and thought it would be a nice alternative to a hotel stay. This B&B is an excellent choice! Great early 1900's architecture and decorations. Very large and well appointed rooms,...

Just a 1 1/2 mile drive from the Coldwater interstate-64 exit you will find a delightful alternative to the generic roadside motels. The Chicago Pike Inn, built in 1905, sits back on the north side of W. Chicago road. It has been beautifully restored, clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was offered at several times and tea and coffee were...

We will definately stay again. We stayed for our wedding. The historic house was fantastic. We stayed in the carriage house and had a private enterance. Had nails done one day and a couples massage before check out!! That really made our stay. The room decor was wonderful and the breakfast delivered each morning was mouth watering. The inn keeper...

This is a nice place, and the amenities are fine. The area is wonderful. However, we were really confused by the innkeeper's lack of knowledge about the area. We asked about a really nice place to eat, and we were told to forget about a well regarded establishment on Coldwater Lake, The Boathouse, because it's pricey and too far away....

I spent two weeks looking for "just the right" place to spend my R&R from Iraq. From the moment we walked thru the front door I knew we had made the right choice. The main house is breathtaking! You can spend hour’s studing the minute details. The food was amazing! My husband is very hard to impress, but he raved...

I stayed at The Chicago Pike Inn with a girlfriend to take advantage of their "spa". I don't know why other B&Bs haven't thought of this, because it's a great idea. We had in-room massage, manicures and pedicures, even facials. It was delightful. We felt pampered in the lap of luxury. The inn is a true historic home, absolutely lovely,...
