First i must mention. The staff, Tim and Dawn are the most helpful and accommodating really makes you feel welcoming and comfortable. Rooms are cute and the beds are amazing. The best sleep i have ever had. The view of the lake is breathtaking. I plan on a return visit so I can have a room right on the water. But rooms off the water are still accessible so its perfect.
Highly highly recommend!!!

Best hospitality around!🌞I’ve never felt so welcome and cared for, as I did during my long-term stay at the Olde Mill Inn❤️. The entire staff helped me to feel comfortable. I felt as close to home, as possible, while staying at the Olde Mill Inn. My room was very clean, cute, and well-equipped!

Very pleasantly surprised. Super affordable, the room was very clean and cute, the staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. The wifi worked great, convenient location. Even a nice little lake with free use of kayaks, or a paddle boat. Definitely would stay again.

This hotel houses individuals that need short term housing by the appearance of the guests.

The grounds are poorly kept, the rooms are in dire need of updating.

The room had a washer & drying which was full of laundry & the ice was housed in an outdoor freezer which also had personal groceries inside of it with bags of ice!

We stayed for one night & had a family emergency which shorted our stay & the manager refused to assist us with a refund even though the day prior had said he had numerous calls for potential rental. We also did research of the cost of the room by another individual contacting the hotel & was provided a completely different price for the exact same rooms.

This hotel is a poor choice for anyone looking for a clean, family friendly accommodation.

I would NOT recommend this facility to any family or friends.

Our room smelled very strongly of smoke. We asked to move and were told no. Had to leave and find a new hotel last minute. Signs say no smoking except an area by the lake, but guests and even the front desk employee was smoking right outside of the road-side rooms. Don't stay here if you're not a smoker.

Nice place with many helpful people that work there. Very clean and comfortable. The porch on the back of the motel is very relaxing. Well worth the price. Near many places to eat. Rustic but clean and cozy.

If you're looking for a cheap stay, this is a good value. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't go for a "getaway" - This is an old motel of about 12 rooms and it's on a busy, 4-lane road in the middle of commercial/industrial build-up. It has been nicely refurbished, and it is on the water, but it's a smaller waterway that is full of other houses. So it's not in a rustic setting. But if you're in the area and want a clean, inexpensive place to rest, this does the job.

The rooms had some good features like a wall "fireplace" (although the tvs were not all updated) and they DO have wifi (we didn't see it on the site). There are kitchenettes with stoves in some rooms, but no utensils or pots and pans were included. However the space was so small I couldn't imagine using it as a home base for cooking, etc., for a whole week. 2 people is probably the max on occupancy unless you really like each other. But including the fridge was a nice touch.

Another note - this is a smoker's haven. We had 4 rooms in our party and 2 of them smelled strongly of smoke even though they're supposed to be non-smoking. People are always outside smoking, and the tables on the waterfront patio had ashtrays full of cigarettes. None of us smoke so it was enough to be unpleasant, especially in the small rooms.

For what we were using it for, it worked out just fine. But just know what you're getting!

It was our first time staying at the Olde Mill Inn and we were pleasantly surprised! We had concert tickets and were celebrating our anniversary; not only did the owner, Tim, go out of his way to accommodate our reservation & but he left a bowl of chocolates (smile)! Very cute cottage on the lake; the best kept secret and gem ;) we're staying there again in September!

I stayed here with 2 kids. There is a micro kitchen. It's recently rehabbed, with a cute back porch overlooking a lake...I wouldn't say a swimming lake, but my husband jumped in and did a few laps for fun...we borrowed the paddle boats and paddled about the lake adjacent to a residential area. Nice...

AND walk across the lot to the L.A. Cafe next door. Friendly and great food!

I have stayed at Olde Mill Inn many times (6 or 7), and always had an awesome experience there. The staff there is always personable, friendly, accomodating, and very genuine- always wants you to look at the room beforehand and you can just tell the people are very "real", which to me, is everything. This inn is not a big fancy place, but it always super clean and you can tell they want you to be happy staying there and DO go out of their way to ensure it is as such. If I had to complain or ask for anything else the only thing, and I do mean the only thing, I would like like to see them do, is to get wireless so that I can use my laptop there. Other than that I highly recommend Olde Mill Inn---- Nine stars out of ten for me!!
