Stayed here for one night to celebrate 21 years. Joan is indeed quite a hostess! She and her husband run a beautiful business. The location is wonderful and the breakfast was one the best we've ever had.

This is an unbelievable gem! A marvelous Bed & Breakfast. The room was immaculate and well appointed... the bathroom spacious and the shower a beautiful walk in... the owners showed great hospitality and the breakfast... Whoa! Cooked to order from omelettes to french toast to specialty pancakes, homemade breads, homemade yogurt, fruit bowl, bacon, homemade tart/coffee cake... I could go on and on. A great value that I would go out of my way to stay there again if I were anywhere in Southeast Michigan!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Keekorok room and our friends stayed in the Abbot room. From the first minute we arrived we were greeted by Joan. After showing us our rooms she proceeded to give us a tour and provided all of the information that we needed for our stay. The Inn is absolutely charming. The rooms are themed and very comfortable. The Inn is a 10 minute drive to the outlet shopping so us ladies enjoyed that while the guys took their cooler of beer to the beautiful garden at the Inn to get caught up! Now for the breakfast! I have never had home made yogurt but Joan’s is the best!! We enjoyed a feast of made to order delights that left everyone walking away full and planning when we would return! Thank so much Joan and Buck for taking us in like family!! We look forward to seeing you both again!!

This B &B is located on the Main Street into downtown Clarkston. Free parking in back for guests. We stayed in the John Abbott Room- the blue room in the front of the house. It had a cute walkout patio, however the street noise didn’t allow for a relaxing time. There is a beautiful garden with a fountain in the back, to enjoy and block out the noise. We were not disturbed by the noise while sleeping. Joan welcomes you and prepared our room with fresh flowers. My favorite feature, is the complete lack of fabric softener smell. Too many other B & B’s use way too much bounce on their linens, making it hard for me to breathe. The linens smells fresh, and the rooms are well maintained. We will be back!

We stayed two nights in the "doll" room, very homey and comfortable. Joan and Buck make you feel part of the family from the moment you walk in the door. I had just picked this location out of the blue online, but I certainly hit the jackpot. Breakfast was outstanding, featuring smoothies, yogurt, bacon, sausage, assorted sweets, homemade whole grain bread, and fruit, and that was before Joan took your order for your choice of several different entrees! It was the same price or cheaper than staying at a hotel in the area.
