I wanted to avoid hotel chains while at a conference, so I selected this relatively nearby bed and breakfast. Owner Joan and her husband Buck were fine hosts, generous with kitchen privileges, snacks, and conversation. As with many B&B’s, this is an older (late 1800’s) big house converted to a bed and breakfast, but without the feel of major renovation... More

My sis and were in town for a concert and stayed overnight. The only downside to this trip is that we only booked one night. Joan answered the door and gave us a tour; she invited us to help ourselves to anything in the impressively stocked kitchen/fridge (which included many types of homemade cookies). The courtyard behind the house is... More

Joan and Buck are great! Best breakfast in the world! All homemade; breads, cinnamon toast, fresh fruit yogurt, fruit smoothies, eggs to order or omelets. Exceptionally clean, ensuite bathrooms and great bedding.

This was my second stay at the Millpond Inn. I will be back again when I next visit family. The rooms are clean, the inn keepers are super accommodating: a quick tour upon arrival, invitation to use refrigerator, ice, books, etc., unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, freshly baked cookies always out, coffee and tea whenever you want, an invitation to... Had a wonderful stay at this B&B nice big comfy bed with updated private bath. All the accommodations of home! Breakfast was an A+ and had all the fixing with any dietary restrictions in mind. Home was very clean and inviting. Would definitely stay again!

My family stayed at this B&B several times while visiting my Dad that lived in Clarkston. This B&B does feel like home. Joan and Buck always welcomed us with open arms. All the rooms are lovely, super clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are not to missed. There is an amazing array of homemade hot items as well as cold. But... More

We've stayed at the Millpond Inn about five times now. It is clean, comfortable, and Joan's cooking is very nurturing. It's been like a second home, while we visit our family in Clarkston. It has been fun and inspiring to converse with Joan and Buck. The delicious breakfasts are especially memorable. The homemade breads, yogurt, smoothies, and omelettes are wonderful.... More

Just returned from two night stay. We had the Southwest room. Very quiet, clean and restful.. Liked the walk on shower with safety bars. The food was excellent and our hosts, Joan and Buck couldn't have been more congenial and accommodating. Would highly recommend to everyone. Hope we get to visit again. Thanks for the lovely time.

This quaint little gem is the only B&B in Clarkston. The location is perfect; traffic can be heavy at times, but we loved watching all the beautiful cars passing by, as we had the front room with small patio to sit. The beds are so comfortable I think we fell asleep the minute we hit the pillow both nights. Joan... More
