This inn is very spacious and they have the sweetest innkeeper running everything by herself. She’s amazing. She took such good care of us. We felt like we were her favorite guests ever. It’s not your typical B&B but Amber will quickly make you feel right at home. The beds are super comfortable. The location is perfect. We look forward to visiting the Charlevoix House again!!

The overall experience at Charlevoix House was disappointing. It is well-located within walking distance of downtown Charlevoix, and the front porch is pleasant. However, poor communication delayed our check-in, the inkeeper wore no mask, and used linens greeted us in the stairwell as we finally made our way to the room after 6 p.m. Although the Golf Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, the placement of the air conditioner only a few feet from my head while in bed made it very uncomfortable while the unit was on. The alternative was to be hot. The unit should be moved to the other window. The serve-yourself "continental breakfast" was non-existent on the first morning of our stay because "groceries weren't delivered," and no apology or refund was offered. On the second morning, it consisted of packaged cereal, granola bars, pop tarts, and bananas. The tiny kitchen eating area was not conducive to social distancing. It would have been much more gracious to be able to sit at a table for two in the living room or on the porch. Based on my 35 years of staying in many, many similarly-priced B&Bs all over the United States, I felt that the whole experience was overpriced. I would not be able to recommend Charlevoix House to friends.

The bed was very good and even though we were on the 3rd floor the room was nice and cool. The staff was very accommodating for a early check in and a late check out. Do not expect a normal bed and breakfast breakfast however. Only a continental provided. Centrally located within walking distance for many attractions.

We had a great stay at the Charlevoix House! Amber was an amazing host. We stayed here for our honeymoon, and she made us a cute heart shaped french toast bake for breakfast, and gifted us a nice bottle of champagne. Our room was very comfortable,we stayed in the golf room with a comfy king sized bed and private bathroom. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!!

We had a lovely stay at this B&B for our color tour! The pink room on the first floor was clean and had an adjoining bathroom. Right outside was a living room with a fireplace. Amber helped us with the TV controls and made a great breakfast for us. It is in walking distance to the local shops and restaurants! Check out the nature preserve just north of town.
