We stayed 6 nights. Cindy the owner is very nice and accommodating, and we loved her dog Gypsy. We stayed in 2 separate rooms as 6 was private in the back, but was booked for the weekend so we had to move to 3. The bed was very comfy in 3, and I can't stress enough how clean this place...

I just stayed here with a friend & my son. Cindy ( the owner) was extremely friendly over the phone while booking the room & made some awesome accommodations for us..BUT after the first day or so, she became quite intrusive. She started telling us when to turn the A/C ON and when to turn it off. Her reasoning for...

Not fancy, but fresh, clean, comfy and friendly. Property is nicely maintained with flowers, foliage and pretty hand-painted rocks - which look so much nicer in person than in the written word. Good mattress with extra pillows that were super comfy. Just up the "hill" south from town it's an easy a two minute ride to shops, restaurants, pubs and...

I thought it was a little pricey for what it was but it was clean, older inside the room but clean. The grounds were the best part - there were lots of pretty flowers and a nice sitting area in the back. Unfortunately there was construction on the side where the room was they initially put us in and seemed...

Looking for a reasonable place to stay for two nights, the visitor bureau suggested Maple Leaf. Perfect. We didn't need a pool, fitness center or comp breakfast. We did want clean, comfy and convenient. Cindy was so welcoming and the motel is nostalgic and adorable. 10 min walk to downtown meant no parking or traffic hassles. We bicycled to Petoskey...

It is an old-fashioned motel like where my family stayed in in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Dated furnishings BUT Cindy and Gypsy are super friendly and obviously work hard and care about the place. Nice big trees, a place to sit out back, big parking spaces outside your room. It is on the main highway so we heard...

The furnishings are definitely old and dated, but everything is so clean and neat that it really doesn't matter. The shower had great water pressure which is often lacking in an older hotel. The facility itself is very nicely landscaped. You can tell the owner really cares.

This motel is an excellent choice! We came across it on our road trip down the coast of Michigan! The owner is lovely and the rooms and grounds are well taken care of! We are defiantly staying there on our next trip to the shores of Michigan.

This was our second time staying at the Maple Leaf Motel. Cindy, the owner / manager takes great pride in the cleanliness of the rooms. And she loves her flowers! It is a gem right on the main road into Charlevoix. Prices are reasonable. This is definitely our "go-to" place to stay in that area of the State.

What a pleasant place to stay, well maintained, clean and large rooms. - The grounds are so cute with flowers, pumpkins, painted rocks. Just adorable! - Will definitely stay again. Prices are very reasonable.
