I was a little put off by the outdated decor, but to my surprise it ended up being a great stay. Front desk staff at check in where very nice and helpful. The room yes was dated but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The shower was a little odd and the water temperature would go from nice warm to a...

This place is very dated, even the "renovated" room we stayed in. Many of the fixtures seem to be originals from when it was built. But this place was clean and spacious. Light continental breakfast is served daily. And right in town. We will be back!

I can say it was clean. Dated. Stuck in the late 60's. I was told the street side was noisy. Checked out why, and it's because the window is permanently open. 😳 so I purchased ear plugs. That worked. They should just give those to guests with the room keys. This would be a last option place to stay. Not...

Looking for a place while passing though town. It's very inviting from the outside. Older and not as modern but the 2nd most comfortable bed we slept in on a 9 day road trip...super comfortable and great pillows. Spacious room and very clean!! Front desk staff was very friendly. And the price was very reasonable.

We were there Sept. 2016. The rooms and bathrooms are large. We had an outside deck (needed painting). The fixtures are pretty old and interesting but completely functional, even a little kitchenette we didn't use. Quiet, even though all rooms were occupied. The included breakfast is barebones but enough for us. Friendly folks at the desk. You could throw a...

Nightly rate was fair, rooms dark, lighting was very dim! On the brighter side: beds comfortable, plenty of towels, walking distance to great restaurants, beaches, downtown! Place is for sale, maybe someone will come along buy it...either tear it down or put a load of money to up grade it!

Ah, the Lodge. Where to start? I have to preface this review by stating that I didn't actually book this motel - my MIL made the reservation, so she was in one room and my husband, son, and I were just adjacent. After reading the reviews on here, I dreaded our stay, as there were not many positive reviews to...

We stayed at the hotel the night of June 25. From the outside, the area looked really nice. Our room was really bad. We stayed at an different hotel later in the week that cost us $60 versus the $154.29 we paid for this room at the Lodge. When we walked in all the windows were open - there was...

This hotel got some bad reviews,so I was pleasantly surprised when I found them to be UNTRUE. The staff is very helpfull and friendly, the hotel, though dated,is comfortable, with large rooms, and comfortable beds. Its nice staying at a hotel, which isnt a cookie cutter design, were once you close the door, you could be in any city. This hotel has atmosphere, and comfort. I will...

My family stayed here about 4 years ago. We stumbled upon it on a road trip. We all loved this old hotel. It's like stepping back in time. My mom and gram and I are on a girls trip again and we made it to Charlevoix and just had to stay at the lodge. We just love the quaintness of...
