We stumbled upon this place whilst we were looking for something else. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to find ourselves checking into a lovely old Manor (with all modern creature comforts) with beautiful hosts who were more than happy to go our of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay. We stayed in the Coachhouse -...

Stayed in Slaney Manor a couple of times this year. It is a place of peace and quiet especially for those of us who seek stress free relaxation. Free from the everyday noises of phones ringing, tv flicking in the background, this place oozes with atmosphere. The outdoor space, garden walk and warm family welcome is appreciated. The rooms in...

We stayed at Slaney Manor in June of this year. The Manor House was interesting, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We were treated to a good breakfast, the staff were friendly and helpful. The house is becoming a bit dated and could do with some upgrading, but overall a pleasant stay. Good location in the countryside.

For the price it was very basic. €160/night. Rooms old fashioned. Bathrooms small, couldn't turn in the shower it was so small & im not a big person. Dirty bed sheets, TV was small 14" about fifteen years old I reckon. Small block of a tele. Curtains only covered some of the window, light shining in early in the morning...

I was staying here as part of a wedding party in another venue. The wedding ceremony ran late and so it was 4pm by the time we got to queue tk check in. The hotel had organised a bus to transport guests to the wedding reception. However the bus didn't bother to wait for the guests. The rooms themselves were...

Just back from a wedding at the Norman styled castle on the Manor grounds. Stayed on the grounds in one of the courtyard rooms. The location, grounds and wedding experience was really enjoyable, quirky and fun. The rooms are basic but meet comfortably the needs for a short stay. Where this location stands out is the friendly welcome and top...

Stayed here for two nights for a friends wedding. Booked through booking.com & got a good price. We stayed in the court yard. The rooms are small and in need of a good dusting. When I pulled out the chair to do my makeup it was covered in spiders. Breakfast was in a room which you walked across the court...

On a recent visit to Slaney Manor, I was extremely disappointed. First of all I booked a room in the main house. On arrival I unpacked the car at the main house but then found the main entrance door locked. I rang a mobile number attached to door. Receptionist (owner?) arrived ad insisted that I was booked into the 'Courtyard'....

Lovely breakfast and they went out of their way to spoil my grandaughter . Pity for such a large place there is no restaurant and also no bar. Although the owner went out of his way to provide a bottle of beer.

My husband & I travelled for over 7 hrs to this hotel to find we would have to go elsewhere for food. Lovely surrounding area, & value for money, but no food except breakfast. We were attending a wedding, the reception was held in another larger venue, to where we had to go to get food.
