On a very last minute trip to visit sick family, we found the lodge the day we arrived and are so glad we did. It provided a cozy place to relax during a difficult trip. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. As it was the “off season”, we had the place to ourselves and it felt like we were at home.

The breakfasts had variety and were very yummy. The library and lobby provided great spaces to wind down during down time. We enjoyed watching Football in the lobby in front of the fireplace and reading on the library couches. Resident pooch Darwin was also a very welcome addition to our stay.

Our hosts were easy to communicate with and worked with our very early checkout time. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The decor and furniture made it feel like staying at a grandparents home, very inviting and cozy.

We have already started planning our next trip to Michigan with this lodge in mind! I think our family has found its new home away from home at Fox’s Lodge.

This place was absolutely perfect for our large family of adults, teens, toddlers and babies. We rented the entire property for a wedding weekend and could not have been happier. The rooms are lovely and clean and the surrounding is beautiful! We will be back!

Spent a wonderful evening with so many things to look at, great library and atmosphere. Had a lot of fun looking at the mounted animals and the surrounding area. Nice walking trail and I am sure the pond has fish in it. I will find out next trip. Rooms are huge with fireplaces and nice firm bed. Waffles for breakfast with Orange juice and delicious coffee that is their own custom blend. Great hosts and a feeling of being farther out into the woods than you really are. Can't wait to get back again!

Charming bed and breakfast with amazing hosts! The value you get for staying here can’t be beat. Hosts make a delicious hot breakfast and have plenty of suggestions for things to do. I enjoyed sitting on the patios outside or lounging in the library with a good book during a morning rain shower. I have stayed here twice in two years and expect to visit a third time next year!

Having never stayed in a B&B, I was skeptical to say the least. Walking in during a power outage, my skepticism increased. Yet, Tracy and Jerry were the most gracious and accommodating hosts we could ask for. The rooms and grounds were impeccable, everything neat, clean and tidy. Very relaxing during our stay and highly recommended!

The Fox's were incredible hosts! The room(105) was cozy and clean. The private screened porch was the perfect little addition to the room. The breakfast was amazing! They have a nice little snack bar free for guests, which was a nice little touch.

The Lodge is very nicely apportioned and Robert was very friendly. My wife and I enjoyed our visit very much. We visited on a Monday, so everything was quiet and peaceful. The Lodge is comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and we look forward to visiting again.

"Romantics may prefer the cabin, but all others will want to be close to the inviting sitting rooms, enormous library, and screened porches all around. Choosing between one of those and sitting outside under the beautiful shade trees around the pond is the hardest decision you will have make."
