We had Myer & Rosa Suite. Very clean. Large bathroom. Easy access to game room and hot tub. House has been well cared for. Nice pond. Friendly owners and staff. Breakfast was wonderful. Good size movie library. Quick walk to movie theater (if open (Covid)). Highly recommend stay.
We found the perfect Inn located in Caro, Michigan. The Inn was built in the late 1890's and is beautifully preserved and extremely well furnished. It sits one block in from the main road and is situated on a quiet tree-lined street. Our visit was perfect from the moment we arrived. We rang the doorbell once and immediately we were greeted by the innkeeper, Don Hall. He graciously gave us a tour of the home and then helped us by carrying our luggage up to our room. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The huge bathroom included every convenience you could think of including a large double-sink vanity and a walk-in shower. Once we were settled in, we were provided with a breakfast menu so that we could make our selections for the next morning. It was nice to have such a customized experience rather than the more common buffet style scenario that you find at other places. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning. It was cooked to perfection by Don and his wife and we couldn't have been more satisfied. The Inn is located in a serene and peaceful neighborhood and is within easy walking distance to downtown Caro and the historic theater. We felt very comfortable staying at this delightful inn.The Himelhoch Inn is a perfect weekend getaway.…
Beautiful Victorian home, the room we were in was beautiful. They had an awesome game room that had a pool table and a LARGE screen TV with over 1000 DVD to pick from. We hung out in there most of the night. Mom mom really enjoyed the suprise. And it was my sister's first time at a B&B. She really liked it also. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Waffles and sausage. The downstairs had several parlors it sit in. The owner was very nice and gave us alot of back history on the home. Would love to come back another time.
From the minute we arrived, Don. The owner, welcomed us with a tour and history. Of this German historical inn. It was cozy and reminiscent of days when construction and decor were a work of art. We enjoyed the richness of the wooden porch, our private balcony, coupled with modern amenities such as the game room and a spa-like bathroom. And we has our choicebof breakfast!
The Himelhoch is an unbelievably wonderful bed and breakfast. From the moment you enter, you just feel like you are home. The accommodations were very comfortable. The house has been beautifully restored. We sat out on the very large porch every morning drinking our coffee before sitting down to a bountiful, delicious breakfast in the dining room. The owners took great care of us and were so helpful and friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
