Who serves a complimentary, full-service breakfast anymore? Nobody...unless you're the Evergreen Resort, for the win! The staff were amazing: from the warmth and courtesy at the front desk, to the bartender that spoiled us, to the servers in the breakfast room who graciously poured us refills on coffee. The other hotels were $100 for a 2-queen room; we paid $136 and got to enjoy sausage links and waffles. When you factor in how much we would have spent on breakfast in town, we came out ahead. Happy kids: happy morning!
There was standing water in the hallway secondary to rain. The walls were rotting, obviously the carpets and walls contain mold. Which is a health hazard, that can course serious disease. I tried all weekend to reach management without success. Dirty, moldy, and I’m surprised the building has been found suitable for guests.
This place is a golf resort. We were passing through. The coffee in the lobby was put away early in afternoon. Parking was tight and if you went down a lane and no parking was available you had to back out. The pool was in a different building and far away from our room. The hot tub paint was flaking. Our room had some issues. The air-conditioner fan made a loud rattling noise and when it was on low it was even louder. We like air circulating so turning it off was not an option. In the bathroom over our toilet the wallpaper was painted a bright yellow. The temperature control in the shower was difficult to regulate and it would get very hot at intervals. Not issues I would expect considering the price we paid. I would not stay there again.
We have been staying at your resort for years now. So happy that the breakfast buffet is back. Every employee that we have ever encountered has always been professional and courteous. Love that those that want to golf can do it right on the property.
My friend and I had a Group Golfer for Evergreen. They were very accommodating, the room was clean, and the course was in good shape. They have an 18 hole course and a shorter 9 hole course. The 9 hole course was fun to play after playing 18 (it was cheap). Bar on site, too!
Great time with great friends at very nice resort ! Our group has been going there for years and we always enjoy our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable . Looking forward to coming back to Evergreen next year .
Used Group Golfer to go here and also upon referral from a friend. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Fridge in room along with coffee. had a great time here playing both courses. well kept and clean. Restaurant and bar on site. Very good service and food was good. staff was great and had good info on local attractions. Can't wait to go back.
Location is good. Food is good. Check in is easy. Room was nice. Comfy bed. Close to lakes and downtown activities. What happened to the golf course? Seemed quite unkempt this trip. That was disappointing but luckily there were other courses close by.
The rooms have American horror story vibe. Never seen house keepers, no one cleaned my room during my stay. Glad I didn’t get killed. Breakfast food was subpar. There is no one around, a good place for thriller movies.
Golf course great except no one on the course or in the shack for refreshments. Restaurant good service and food. Limited hours had us drive into town mid afternoon to eat. Room great shape as always
