Clear Lake is one of our family traditions. We're not campers, but my parents always took us at least one day in the summer for a full day of swimming and picnic. That was back in the 60's!! We have continued this with the next generation so my nieces and nephews (and now

A very bad overall experience. Electric hookups were shared between sites and our neighbor was always resetting site power. Not what I would call a “Resort” but more of an overnight ground. 99% seasonal sites with permanent residents.

I am concerned to hear that you had such a bad experience. Were you expecting something much different? For the record, sites do not all share electric pedestals but I am sorry to hear that in your experience you had to share one with another camper who was resetting it. The actual percentage of seasonal sites to over night sites is 50/50 but I can understand why a first impression would make you think that this is a predominantly seasonal campground. We are on a small lake and years ago many people became seasonals because they liked it so much. Many have bought bigger and bigger trailers on the same sites that were here over 50 years ago. However, rather than keeping the same number of permanent sites that were here when we bought the place 14 years ago, we have begun to decrease the number of permanent sites so that we would have more sites available for families like yours to be able to come here too. Still, I can understand thinking that this "looks like" a trailer park rather than a campground. The wooded area for tents is actually vastly different from the areas for those needing electric hook ups. I do hope you took a walk up and through the camping areas to see how pretty the wooded area is. And we do our best to provide a simple, safe, clean environment for people to experience the lake, camping and perhaps a few activities on the side. The term "resort" has been changed through the years to mean everything from a Disney "resort" to a simple resort like ours. I have chosen not to entertain our guests constantly during their stay but to rather allow them to create their own fun through renting a kayak, swimming, fishing, cooking over the fire, play beach volleyball, maybe singing a little karaoke, or taking a hay ride, or doing a little craft with their kids..We believe that the simplicity of our place is very much needed in today's society..it's not everywhere that you see kids just playing in a pile of sand, or dropping there bikes and running to the water, or where you can be relaxed enough to allow a 5 year old to go up and "buy" their first ice cream cone for 50 cents. I am sincerely sorry that you had such a bad experience here. I do know that things can happen and this place is not for everyone. Just so you know though, we do care.

I can’t say enough about this place! Very clean, super friendly staff and beautiful! We found it on accident, as we had car trouble on a camping trip. We found this camp on GPS and called to see if they had an opening. Another camp we found said they did but didn’t when we got

While we did had a great time at Fuller's, and we will definitely go back, there are a few things that I wanted to point out about why I didn't give it an Excellent rating. I have been to many campgrounds. I have a family of 5 (3 kids 6 and under, a wife and a dog). We camp

Thank you for your review. The infrastructure that goes into setting up restrooms in the primitive area is something that has been on our mind but requires a massive dig to create a new septic field in the primitive area. We have a mixture of people who want the primitive experience and others who want more modern facilities up there. I hope you were not too put out by the porta potties, we try very hard to keep them clean. Thank you again for the review. We will discuss this again this winter I am sure.. no promises on being able to do it but we will discuss it. Thanks.

My wife and I are seasonal campers at this Campground and Resort. It is a wonderful place to camp or just use the beach for day use. Very clean and well managed with awesome staff. There are almost 200 campsites at this location and about 1/2 of them are seasonal, that should

"Book sites early!"
"Choose your spot wisely. We don't drink or party, so we opted for higher ground and lots of trees. Also, during the busy seasons, book well in advance."
"There are only 2 cottages and they book up fast. Holiday weekends you will need to book a year in advance."
"Don't choose one here. That's the best advice I can give you to help you choose a good room."
"The sites in the back loop are the most wooded and more quiet as they are away from the main activity at the lake and seasonal sites. For trailers/full electric and water hook-up, sites 117 - 131 are great!"
