If you are looking for a spacious, clean, comfortable place to stay, look no more! Ken and Shannon have created a beautiful vacation housing spot. Enjoy clean, newly renovated suites! Welcoming decor with a great kitchen area. Comfortable beds, tile floors, spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water, room to make breakfast or lunch. Modest refrigerator for snacks, fruits, veggies and beverages.
We traveled with 2 teens and everyone was happy! Lots of close parking ( our neighbors were traveling with large trailers for outdoor vehicles and left plenty of parking). New landscaping, a picnic table near a campfire ring and a tree swing enhanced the homey feel.
Located in a great spot for day trips to the Soo, Paradise, and Lake Superior hikes. We will stay again on a future trip north. Thanks for the great home away from home. 🤩

Absolutely perfect. Outdoor distancing to check in with Ken. Enter from outdoors to a remodeled junior suite. No one ever entered it again but my husband and I. Towels delivered if needed. Cleaning done if asked for slight fee. Kitchen with full sized refrigerator is adequate for simple breakfast and making picnic lunches...not serious cooking. Bring extra equipment for that.
Dancing Crane has excellent coffees. Pickles is well liked as bar/restaurant with outdoor dining. Nice drive to Soo or the falls or Whitefish Point. We wanted to be near Lake Superior and we were. Relaxing. Clean. Safe.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Nice enough place. One air conditioner in master bedroom wasn't very efficient for the entire place, especially for those sleeping in second bedroom. Musty smelling. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher. Besides those pretty minor things, nice place. Good location. Easy check in.

We booked two nights. While there, I had a medical issue that required me to leave one day early. While I get their policy, apparently medical issues are not their concern, so no refund there! Beyond that, the room was cobbled together. The tile by the bed was warped and will mangle your toe. The “ kitchen” had only one fork (guess you had to share). The air conditioner was worthless. The bedroom area was sweltering but the area where the air conditioner was located was a meat locker.

We stayed in the two bedroom suite for three days. Ken was very friendly and gave us many suggestions for food, sightseeing etc. The suite was very clean and well kept. Highly recommend! We will definitely stay here again!

Nicely furnished with 2 beds, kitchen. TV, WiFi . Very reasonably priced. Enjoyed talking with the owner, Ken, who did most of the renovation himself. Short drive to neat restaurant named Pickles and a 5 minute walk to a good breakfast place. Would stay again.

We stayed in a standard suite. Clean, updated, kitchen with all amenities is a real plus, quiet, Ken was easy to work with, very reasonable price. Only one minor issue and certainly not a deal-breaker…no hairdryers in rooms. I only mention it as a heads up to the ladies who may visit to pack one 🙂 Definitely would stay again.

Your first instinct when you see a little motel is "probably not very nice". With this motel you would be very wrong. Make sure you don't pass this motel up if you are looking for a motel near Brimley, MI.
The young couple that own this motel have done a terrific job of upgrading. We stayed in one of their Junior Suites and were VERY pleased. The fully equipped kitchenette allows you to bring your own food and cook it.
This motel is very economically priced while getting a good value.
Be sure to look them up if you are in the area. They don't have an on-site office but when we called the owner was there is about five minutes. You won't be disappointed.

Affordable, clean room. I would stay here again. Came to the area to snowmobile. There was plenty of parking for truck and snowmobile trailer. Room was nicely decorated and appeared new. I would stay here again.
