We stayed in the two bedroom suite for three days. Ken was very friendly and gave us many suggestions for food, sightseeing etc. The suite was very clean and well kept. Highly recommend! We will definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a spacious, clean, comfortable place to stay, look no more! Ken and Shannon have created a beautiful vacation housing spot. Enjoy clean, newly renovated suites! Welcoming decor with a great kitchen area. Comfortable beds, tile floors, spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water, room to make breakfast or lunch. Modest refrigerator for snacks, fruits, veggies and beverages. We traveled with 2 teens and everyone was happy! Lots of close parking ( our neighbors were traveling with large trailers for outdoor vehicles and left plenty of parking). New landscaping, a picnic table near a campfire ring and a tree swing enhanced the homey feel. Located in a great spot for day trips to the Soo, Paradise, and Lake Superior hikes. We will stay again on a future trip north. Thanks for the great home away from home. 🤩

We booked two nights. While there, I had a medical issue that required me to leave one day early. While I get their policy, apparently medical issues are not their concern, so no refund there! Beyond that, the room was cobbled together. The tile by the bed was warped and will mangle your toe. The “ kitchen” had only one fork (guess you had to share). The air conditioner was worthless. The bedroom area was sweltering but the area where the air conditioner was located was a meat locker.

We rented the 2 bedroom Suite and it’s was perfect for us!! We had 2 couples in the room, plenty of room! The full kitchen was great! I would suggest bringing a spatula & mixing bowl of some kind if u plan on cooking! There is everything you need minus those! The owner was great & we saw him daily, very friendly!! We had a total of 9 couples (only 5 stayed here), we had 4 of the suites rented, we would’ve rented them all except they were already booked! I would recommend this motel!! Clean, reasonably priced, close to town!

Absolutely perfect. Outdoor distancing to check in with Ken. Enter from outdoors to a remodeled junior suite. No one ever entered it again but my husband and I. Towels delivered if needed. Cleaning done if asked for slight fee. Kitchen with full sized refrigerator is adequate for simple breakfast and making picnic lunches...not serious cooking. Bring extra equipment for that. Dancing Crane has excellent coffees. Pickles is well liked as bar/restaurant with outdoor dining. Nice drive to Soo or the falls or Whitefish Point. We wanted to be near Lake Superior and we were. Relaxing. Clean. Safe.

Nicely furnished with 2 beds, kitchen. TV, WiFi . Very reasonably priced. Enjoyed talking with the owner, Ken, who did most of the renovation himself. Short drive to neat restaurant named Pickles and a 5 minute walk to a good breakfast place. Would stay again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Nice enough place. One air conditioner in master bedroom wasn't very efficient for the entire place, especially for those sleeping in second bedroom. Musty smelling. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher. Besides those pretty minor things, nice place. Good location. Easy check in.

Ken and Shannon provide a wonderful place to stay while visiting The Soo Locks or Tahquamenon Falls. Modern decor AND kitchenettes make it so affordable to stay an extra day or two and not break the vacation budget. Comfortable bed. Quite rooms. Hot water for showers all located near great places to eat before you head out on an adventure. We always stay at Brimley Motel Suites while "up North". I book our anniversary the week we get back!

Loved this little motel. The decor is very modern and comfy. I loved the layout. You enter a small area with room to park your shoes and cooler. Cubbies right there to stick things like your purse and camera and hat, easy to see and not forget when you leave. No heavy ugly dressers with drawers no one uses taking up space. The small kitchenette was handy. Wish you were a chain!

This updated comfy suite in the village is within easy driving distance of all the highlights of the eastern Upper Peninsula, including the twin border cities of Sault Ste Marie, MI and Ontario. Quiet location with all the amenities expected for an extended stay. Super friendly and accommodating owner, and amazingly affordable. Branch out from Brimley to Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point to the west, and the Soo looks to the east, not to mention good restaurants and the Bay Mills Casino nearby. What more could you want?
