The owners are very nice people and when me and my partner came to check in we were upgraded from a queen to a king which was a pleasant surprise... Unfortunately the keys to our room wouldn't open the door and had ro be fixed. Stepping into the room was like walking back in time to the 1950s except with... More

Hotels around Frankenmuth MI can be expensive, especially during the peak season of Sept - Dec. We booked this hotel because it is about a 5 hour drive from Cincinnati to visit Frankenmuth. Most hotels were $175 + per night for a weekend. While we spent less than 1/2 of that at the Heidelberg, there wasn't a lot of value... More

place is ok if your looking for a cheap crash pad, it is very dated, but it gets the job done, everything worked as it should, bathroom was a bit on the small side, and keep in mind the walls are thin! kudos to the couple in room #3 they had serious stamina, and that adds up that first thing... walls were very thin, could hear everything the neighbors were saying. The room was very clean, but I arrived to an overwhelming scent of cleaner. I needed to air the room out immediately in order consider staying the night. Everything was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water.

You choose which you hate the most: odor, lack of cleanliness, run-down and neglected decor, only tepid water, no toilet paper, too few towels, thin tattered sheets, dead insects on the floor, small bathroom, trampoline style-springy beds, tube-style TV, poor service. At Heidelberg Motel you ca have all of these at once. Because we spent so much on the room,... More

Thought this would have a nice German feel and it was anything but that! The entire place was run down and falling apart! The bed have u really bad pain and the comforter was disgusting and probably not washed since the fall of the Berlin Wall! The breakfast was low budget frozen in the scary office that had no place... My husband and I stayed here on April 26 2013. The room was large had a nice bed. This is a older motel, but it is clean and cute. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again. We were judges for Michigan History day on April 27. We unpacked, then went into town to enjoy a chicken dinner. Rested in... More

Booked this hotel due to the location to Frankenmuth, all the other ones were sold out ( now I know why). We arrived after dark to a poorly lit and unfriendly check in. You have to speak through plexi glass and there were hand written signs letting you know there were NO REFUNDS. Upon entering the room it had a... More

We bookd this hotel for location to Frankenmuth, since the hotels in the city requird a 2 night stay. Upon entering the room, you get smacked in the face with a terrible odor ( the window was opened to help air out the room). Upon sitting on the bed, I pulled back the cover and was totally grossed out by... More
