We stayed here over the weekend while we visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City. The restaurant/bar downstairs is a nice touch and they had a decent selection of craft beer, and nice TVs. Our room was (I have to think) the smallest of the bunch - it fit a full bed and a bedside table, and that was about... More

I've stayed at the Cold Creek Inn several times over the past 6 years. The rooms have always been small and a bit odd, though always clean and comfortable. I've noticed that they have been remodeling recently, both the hotel as well as the bar and restaurant below. The remodel definitely made the rooms more inviting (and more worthy of... More

We had a party of nine and came in on a Friday afternoon after tubing down the Platte River all day. We are all pretty hungry and we walk in the bar area which was recently remodeled beautifully. There were several people sitting at the bar area already having great conversations that we found it quite likely even at that... More

Best Pizza in the area for sure. We'll definitely be back for the quality of food and service. Perch was also incredible. Many micro beers to choose from with a laid back atmosphere. Stop in when in the area. Friend stayed in the rooms upstairs and were very happy with the cost and more importantly the cleanliness of the inn.

I have been here many times over the years, and typically have had good service, food and drinks. In early July 2016, however, things seem to have gone awry. The menu was much smaller than in the past, the service very slow and unresponsive. Girls too young to serve alcohol were unable to bring us drinks. When the food finally... More

The Beulah Burger is the best and biggest burger in all of Michigan!! Fresh meat daily from Buckley and fresh bakery buns make this the most delicious meal ever! The generous patty extends over the toasted bun and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and choice of cheese. Served with a side of slaw and chips it is a mouthwatering treat.... More

Last weekend I went to Crystal Lake. When I made my reservations I thought I had made them for Cold Creek Inn, but to my pleasant surprise they had put me at the Crystal Lake Resort (which they also own). For dinner I was debating between the Cold Creek Inn and another restaurant. I decided on Cold Creek Inn and... More

my wife steak wasn't cooked right, and given the amount of time we had to wait for it, i didn't want to wait for another one she wanted med rare not well. It was about 20 bucks for that steak too with hardly any sides, Every time you go there the cook and menu changes, it sort of annoying, the... More

Stayed there for Autumn leaves and the dunes. Room number 1 smelled like someone had been smoking previously. All rooms are above bar so you get bar room noise all night. Room cost over a hundred for King Size bed. Room was also warm all night I guess due to restaurant below. Bed was good and bathroom clean. Glad to... More

Chose the Cold Creek Inn for dinner on a recent Friday evening. Appeared to be a popular spot. Pleasantly surprised to find the middle-eastern menu items, of complicated, time-consuming recipes. Wife ordered fried perch and I chose Moroccan lamb and fig sausage on a bed of Moroccan-style couscous. Also had two cocktails and an appetizer of fried risotto cheese balls.... More
