We had a very nice two night stay at this B&B. Rooms were very nice and clean and breakfast was yummy! Walking distance from downtown to enjoy local night life. Also saw the local deer! Would stay again.

This was our first bed and breakfast stay, and what a great and relacing stay it was. Room that we stayed at (Garden) was small and very cozy and nice. It had that “visiting grandma” feel to it. Bathroom was nice, clean with everything that one may need, and fee extras. Breakfast was real suprise and delight - I was expecting standard arthery attack (eggs, bagels, bacon) type. We got a much healthier option (see pic). All in all, we had a very nice stay, and next time we would like to stay for a whole weekend.

We had the privilege of staying at the Bellaire B&B right as it was transitioning ownership. Jim and Dave were great hosts and they had just sold the inn to Holly who we were able to meet and get to know a bit before we left. Jim and Dave have done a great job building this B&B into the wonderful oasis it is over the past 23 years. Holly seems like she will only continue to add value and take this place to the next level. We stayed in the East Lake room and, from peeking into open/empty rooms during our stay, it seems this was the best room for a couple. It seemed to have the most space, a wonderful balcony to sit on and overlook the huge oak and maple trees lining the driveway and was very cozy. The bed was a little too soft for our liking but not a deal breaker. The room was decorated beautifully in a Victorian wall paper and paint color. Breakfast's each morning were delightful. Only one morning was it too sugary for us but that's just our taste. Jim made conversation as he moved food in and out of the dining area. It's a family style breakfast so be aware that you don't have a private time to eat and wake up. (Time to make friends!) :) Drinks and snacks are available 24x7. There’s a fun game room, a beautiful library and plenty of porch space to lounge around. We never made it to one, but they have a social hour each evening from 5- 7 out on the porch. We drove everywhere, but as other reviewers mentioned, downtown Bellaire is a walk away. There are also parks, ponds, shops, etc all within walking distance. Very cute downtown. We ate at Papa K's pizza, just outside of town the first night after our long drive up, ate at Corner Bistro the second night and both places were delicious. We drove to Alden one day and to Elk Rapids one day. Both wonderful, winding drives through the country and around Torch Lake. Both cool little towns(well, Alden is little. Elk Rapids felt big but cool harbor) We would definitely recommend this place. We stayed four nights for our 21st wedding anniversary and we had a great time. Congrats to Dave and Jim on your retirement and welcome Holly!!

We love B&B's. Found this one by accident. Everything about Belleair B&B is fantastic. They only have 9 rooms. Classic group breakfast together with other guests. Large rooms. Many amenities. Beautiful house and grounds. We plan to go back and spend a week. Near Travares and other lake side towns.

This place is a beautiful gem. It has a ton of charm and the owners go all out. The location is perfect for a walk to Shorts Brewery and downtown Bellaire. The breakfast was amazing and the social hour was a very nice touch. It's also only a few miles from Torch lake. We were only able to stay one night but plan on returning soon.
