So frustrating, the hotel is closed for renovations however you can still book a room on hotels.com and there is nothing indicating that's it's closed! If you call the actual hotel there is an automated system stating they won't be open until Dec 2016! There is a giant sign in the front of the hotel saying it's closed...

Those of us who stayed on the 4th floor had lovely rooms: new carpeting, new bathroom fixtures, and the like. The lobby was also quite lovely, with nice couches. The only down side was the elevator, which has seen better days. While perfectly serviceable, it was quite slow. Breakfast was all right but not superb -- but very similar to...

The hotel is in the process of being refurbished. It was clean, and the staff was nice. I expect that it will continue to improve. If they don't jack up the prices, I will stay there again. It had dated decor, and the wear showed here and there. There are things they don't have all worked out, like you can...

First off the beds were rock hard. The decor was a little outdated, to be fair it looked as though this was being worked on. The continental breakfast was meh. It consisted of chocolate and powdered doughnuts (the ones you buy off from the shelf at a convenience store) they had some pencil thin cream filled pastries (these were pretty...

Shopped several hotels in this area and settled on the Bay City Inn due to location and a great price. Very disappointing, the room they tried to put us in had not been cleaned after the last guest had checked out. It was disgusting and made me wonder if anyone had even changed the sheets. Dirty tub, used washcloth still...

The last time we were here, it was officially the Three Palms, and it was fairly dreadful. We noticed, however, that someone was making an attempt, as small as it was, to make changes, but at an alarming snail's pace. It was like they put granite sinks in the bathrooms and nothing else. Enough of what was. Here's what it...

OMG! This place needs Anthony Melchiorri from Hotel Impossible. It has so many possibilities and if they ever got new beds I'd probably stay here again. I have NEVER, in ALL my years of traveling (40) slept on a harder bed. If it didn't hurt when I laid down it did when I got up. Needs new drapery also. Otherwise...

They were still under a new management. Staff were kind and efficient. That was about a year or so ago. We are going back next weekend. We can't wait to see the improvements! Check our follow up comments early June.

Best place for the price. Friendly, chatty owner. Cute front desk girl. Clean beds. Good location. No HDTVs. :/ No matter, because I didn't lay around watching TV. Vending machine sells popcorn, but got back to my room to realize there's no microwave?? But still, best place in town.

I stayed here a few times and I can say this is a nice affordable hotel. It used to be Holiday Inn back in the day. Very clean, friendly staff, beds are comfortable, very quiet. They have a free breakfast in the morning with pastry's, bagels, cereal, fruit, Orange juice, and coffee (which Is offered to you in your room...
