Our weekend at the Historic Webster House B&B was nothing short of bliss. Deborah and Angel made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we entered the house. They make you feel taken care of while not being obtrusive. Their attention to detail was felt throughout our stay from sending us personalized message to prepare for our arrival to having our drinks of choice on hand. We were fortunate enough to be there on a weekend when they partnered with House of Willard Catering and we experienced a 5 course meal by Chef Amanda that was not only delicious but entertaining as well. The house itself is decorated in such a way that is respectful of the history and still cozy. The rooms are exactly as pictured on their website, so clean, and smells amazing. The location is perfect - close enough to Frankenmuth to be convenient and far enough away to not be in the traffic and business of that area. Bay City was a lovely town - quiet in the fall which was perfect for our getaway weekend. I look forward to visiting here if for no other reason than to stay in this lovely inn.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and all of the amenities we offer. The five course chef prepared dinner we offer on Saturday evenings has been very popular with our guests so we are glad you found that enjoyable and entertaining. We'll look forward to your next visit.

Beautifully appointed century home with lovely holiday decorations. The Webster House is near the center of Bay City and the room was clean and spacious with a nice welcome gift including cookies and wine. Complementary soft drinks and coffee are available and breakfast with mimosas and skillet baked cheesy eggs and bacon. We highly recommend this B&B if staying in the Bay City area

My wife and I came here in a last ditch effort to salvage a disappointing anniversary, and the Webster house delivered! We were greeted by one of the inn keepers who was gracious enough to give a brief tour of the common areas of the house. After we took in the wonderful decor (art nouveau wall paper and wood carvings), we were shown to our room. We stayed in the “Signature” room, named for the signatures left on the plaster from the original wall-paper workers (framed in to highlight the signatures). Our queen sized bed was like sleeping on air, even though the box springs squeaked a bit while getting in and out of bed. The optional fire place was a nice feature, though it was hot out, so we didn’t end up using it (probably very nice on a cold fall evening).

The bathroom; tucked under a staircase, it’s a low ceiling while using the toilet, but it rises up to full height for the waterfall walk in shower. There is a small vessel sink just outside the bathroom proper for hand washing, teeth brushing, shaving, etc.

The main room had 5 huge windows letting in a ton of light during the day, and horizontal blinds to block out lights at night.

Breakfast in the morning was phenomenal; grilled pineapple with berries and sorbet to start, then the main course of eggs soft boiled in a ham cup, 2 strips of bacon, and a huge slice of cinnamon French toast (served with syrup).

All in all, I can not recommend staying here enough!

This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last. The house is uniquely special, and everyone who works here makes your stay feel magically easy. We went to celebrate a birthday and grab some much needed down time! Mission accomplished! We stayed in the Judges Chambers, not only was it sparkly clean but extremely cozy, you can feel the attention to detail. A scrumptious cake and chilled wine was already in our room upon arrival. We booked an in room couples massage that was AMAZING! The location to the downtown area is stellar, you can walk to quite a bit and strolling the historic district there's so much to take in. Jeanette was the perfect welcoming host and her talent in the culinary arts for breakfast was beyond expectations. YUM! Debbie knows what she is doing and makes sure her guest are taken special care of, she really has the perfect staff in place. Everybody was wonderful and accommodating. I seriously can't wait to go back. Thank you for the most amazing weekend.

We stayed at the Historic Webster House for a three-day visit while we celebrated our anniversary. Beautiful bed and breakfast. Debra, our hostesss, provided us with all the information we needed beforehand, to include sending us a video of the room we were to stay at. We arrived later than anticipated, but there was no problem, since Debra had provided us with the code to enter the house and another code to enter our individual room (which was spacious and tastefully decorated). Awaiting us was a bottle of champagne and carmel corn. The three breakfasts we ate were terrific, decedant pastries, mimosa, quiche, sausage, bacon, eggs, fruit, yogurt, etc. Debra gave us advice on where to eat dinner and what to do in Bay City. We recommend the Historic Webster House whole-heartedly.

We had a fabulous second visit to the Historic Webster House B&B ! We stayed in the Webster Room for our second time - we love the relaxing huge jacuzzi tub ! The contact-less entry to the B&B was perfect, the lights were on in the entire house and the music was playing in our room ! The room now has a cozy table and plates, silverware was in place for us to enjoy our takeout from Old City Hall restaurant.
We saw Deborah at breakfast and enjoyed our delicious and plentiful meal along with some wonderfully distanced conversation.
We visited the Castle Museum in Saginaw before going to Webster House and truly enjoyed the history of the area from lumbering to auto manufacturing to daily living in the distant and recent past.

Absolutely the best! My husband found this beautiful B&B and surprised me on our anniversary. We loved the history of the house and the quaintness of our room - we were in the Webster room on the third floor The house was immaculate and we could see the attention to detail that was given to make our stay enjoyable - they even had a cake in our room for our anniversary. We enjoyed sitting in the garden in the evenings - what fun to watch the antics of the kittens that were there. Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely visit this house again.

Webster house is such a nice clean place and beautifully decorated. We found them on a spur of the moment search for an anniversary trip and though we never thought of Bay City as a destination we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. We used the spa on site for the extra fee and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is within walking distance to many restaurants so don’t worry too much about driving and parking. Bay City itself has a ways to go compared to other larger Michigan cities but don’t let that keep you from going to Webster House.

We booked two nights at the Webster House as a last minute getaway before saying goodbye to 2020. We were so amazed by the house and the houses in the surrounding area were beautiful! It’s rare that you find so many Victorian homes in such good shape.

The house was still decorated for Christmas which was great to see because the details were fantastic and really made it feel elegant in there. The house has been restored to prime condition and there were so many little details to find as you walked around.

We stayed in the Magistrate room on the top floor and really enjoyed the skylights and could imagine the stars on a clear night. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were very soft. There was a small sitting area which provided a good dinner table for the take out we got from G’s Pizzeria and Gatsbys Steakhouse.

There was some decent little shops down the street and made it fun to explore Bay City! If you like coffee, Populace Coffee had some good stuff!!
