We attended a speaker presentation at the Proctor Mansion Inn. It was held in the ballroom, and delicious tea, scones, and chocolate-covered strawberries were served. This historic inn was warm and inviting, the service impressive, and the ambiance was unsurpassed. Much has been done to carefully and lovingly restore--not renovate, restore--this unique structure, some of which is ongoing. During the... More

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with the Proctor Mansion Inn. I spent the night before the wedding with my daughters and my besties and our wedding day was spectacular! The mansion is so clean. The staff is accommodating, the owners are gracious and welcoming and Michelle the event coordinator is fantastic. Our family and friends are... More

Our experience at the Proctor Mansion Inn was memorable in a very positive way, not only for the house and it's beauty, character and history, but also for the people. Deri, the innkeeper was friendly, informative and helpful. She gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. There were chef-made chocolate chip cookies and mini cinnamon buns waiting for us in... More

I have to say that I feel a little duped by this place. I was looking for something like the Morrill Mansion in Portland and was given to expect that from the video on the website. However, despite the fact that the owners have clearly spent a deal of money on the renovations to date, there is a long way... More

We are very sorry that this guest feels this way about the Proctor Mansion Inn. His comments about how the Mansion looks like the “Addams Family” are simply not true and are not fair to the unique historic elegance of the Proctor Mansion Inn. On the trip Advisor page you will find beautiful and accurate photos of the property provided... More

I took my wife to the porter mansion for tea on valentine's day. The service, food, music and company was fantastic. We got a tour and history of the mansion from the owner. We highly recommend going to an event or staying overnight. The hospitality was first class. The house has original decor throughout but has had electricity, plumbing and... More

I stayed at the Proctor for four nights last week. Wrentham is small, quiet and beautiful, especially with a dusting of snow, but there are excellent restaurants just across the common, and others are easy driving distance. I was there for research at the town library, but my sister and niece drove in for a lovely day and night together.... More

We came out for a 30th High school reunion. It was just minutes away from the venue. We were welcomed with open arms and felt 'at home'. Built in the 1800's, this inn has so much character and historical ambiance. We lounged in one of the living rooms, went to the reunion, and then had a delicious home made breakfast... More

The walls are alive with history in this beautiful Inn. The staff are very nice and accomidating. The rooms are tastefully decorated. I got the opportunity to speak with the owner and got some great historical stories about the inn. So for a nice relaxing stay with a little bit of cool history, I highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I needed a place to stay for one night as we were dropping off our son at boarding school. Originally we were planning to stay downtown but couldn't find a room since every hotel was sold out due to the Patriots opening game. Fortunately we found the Proctor Mansion Inn through bedandbreakfast.com and read reviews on Trip... More

Fabulous. The history here is unsurpassed. The owner is very knowledgeable and loves to explain in detail the history of the house. We were in town for a memorial service. In free time we walked to the beautiful historic graveyard across the street and explored the historical society as well. We ate in town and drove to Boston for tours.
