#1 of 3 B&Bs / Inns in Wrentham
We invite you to step back in time & experience a taste of yesterday at the Proctor Mansion Inn. Built in 1861, the Inn is a striking example of 2nd Empire French Victorian architecture. Amazingly preserved & lovingly restored, it provides a glimpse of grandeur from days gone by. The Proctor Mansion is set within a picturesque New England town midway between Boston & Providence. Each room in the Proctor Mansion Inn differs with original frescos, wood work & architectural features. All of the rooms are uniquely decorated including period antiques & local original artwork. The Proctor Mansion Inn is extremely ornate & is one of only 7 in the United States of this Victorian style with the original interior intact. Enjoy the sweeping stair case, 14’ painted ceilings & the original servants bells still hanging! Our Signature New England Breakfast is included with your stay. Be sure to check out.

The Proctor Mansion is a wonderful place to hold an intimate wedding! With no venue requirement to fill in seats, you can design your wedding YOUR way - all it takes is a little imagination and the right venders! The place is beautiful, and the staff is thoughtful and kind! I had everything a larger wedding had on a smaller scale. Spending a few nights at the inn after felt like a dream. Beds are comfortable, breakfast was lovely and accommodating to our needs. My husband and I are forever in love with the Proctor Mansion!

This was the last stop of this years three week holiday and we stayed three nights. This is a lovely old property with so much character. Our room was the Peach room which was dominated by a large (and comfortable) four poster bed and the other furniture was in keeping with this period room. We learnt about the history of the property which adds even more to the character. But what really made our stay special was the care and attention from our hosts who looked after us so well. Cannot praise them high enough. If you want a memorable stay in the Wrentham area then look no further.

So, Wrentham, it's near Gillette Stadium where the patriots play and other concert venues. It has a public lake to rent kayaks, paddleboards or generally swim and hang out. Wrentham has a high end outlet mall, it's 20 minutes to providence and 35 minutes to Boston, in the center of town is the Proctor Mansion Bed and Breakfast, a historic old mansion that has been restored to it's original grandeur. Our stay was for just one night, we checked in and explored the property, the furnishings, the ballrooms and dining areas. This is by far one of the most unique stays I have ever had. The complimentary breakfast is English style, hot eggs, biscuits, coffee, juices and so on made fresh by the staff and served in the most stunning dining room where you may just as well be in 1861. The property offers gardens to walk around, restaurants in walking distance and the close proximity to anything you may want to do be it gambling at the casino or bowling at the stadium venue. There really is something for everyone in this little town, including public tennis course in the town park! What a great night, don't forget to check out the Cupola!

Had a wedding to attend at Lake Pearl. Used trip advisor to find Inn. Upon arrival was greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a carafe of lemon water. (Negative water had a chlorine taste even for coffee & tea). The lady gave us a tour and history of the mansion. We stayed in the peach room. Yes, the mansion does need some TLC but knowing the construction business And the lack of skilled tradesmen, we still loved staying here. The moldings were exquisite. The Inn was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were immaculate, bathrooms were modern. Garden out back was cute. Breakfast was served the next morning, cooked fresh. Innkeeper came to speak with us. I look forward to staying there again. It is very quaint and charming.

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in many hotels. This is the best place I’ve ever stayed! Best service, cordial staff, clean and full of history. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, loads of charm! Will definitely be back again. They even took care of my girlfriends gluten allergy and ensured everything she ate was gluten free and they even left delicious gluten free cookies at night! I mean you can’t beat the service and attention to detail. Definitely pick their brains on the history. We were there for a wedding at lake pearl which is a 5 minute drive. Great ice cream shop, monestary based chocolate shop, great cafe called looking glass across the street and a really cute antique shop owned by a gentleman who literally had everything! This was our first trip to New England together and staying at the proctor made it so much more special! I will definitely be back again! Highly recommended !
