I was in the Boston area for the anniversary of my wife's passing. In Jewish tradition it is called an unvailing. As i walked in to register after a long drive from VA. the owner noticed I was not in the best of moods. After giving me an Ice tea he showed me to my room and parked my car behind the... More

My husband and I recently stayed here on our way home from Europe during our honeymoon. The room was very comfy, the restaurant on site had delicious food, and everyone on staff was lovely. Wish we had more time to spend here and very glad we found this gem!

If you need to stay near the airport this is a nice alternative. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for a fair price, and I got up early, made a very decent cup of coffee in my room (New England coffee, large mug, real cream!) and took it with me for a walk to the beach, just a 2 minute... This hotel was affordable and nicely updated. Staff went out of their way to let us know the best way to get around Boston. Short drive to train station. Our room was a suite complete with full kitchen, and quaint bookshelf with books I wish I had time to read!

I chose this hotel because of the reviews and price, but the convenient location was unexpected. We were touring Boston and found it very easy to park at the Orient Heights lot and take the train downtown in about 20 minutes. At the end of the day we had a great restaurant downstairs. The room was clean and large and... More

A fun Boston neighborhood hotel.. Friendly staff and very accomodating. A hotel with a special flavor. Ask Eddie to tell you the ghost story.. It's a little tricky to get there but we had no problem using gps. No elevator if you need that.

I am glad I found this hotel and decided to stay there. We traveled to Boston every day with bus&train in less then hour, usually 45 min to Copley. What we got for it? A very nice apartment with beautiful view to the see in a place where we could feel like in a friends house. Everyone was helpful and... More

We only had one night there after flying into Boston and driving out the next morning but they made us feel welcome. The room was comfortable, the view beautiful, and the owner and his son extremely friendly and thoughtful. Very convenient from the airport as well.

The Winthrop Arms Hotel was a surprising find and we are glad to have stayed there, despite the minor inconvenience with location (particularly for travelling into Boston). That being said, Winthrop is a beautifully peaceful area by the water with the hotel located only a minute from the sea. The staff were welcoming & super friendly and the rooms were... More

2nd time visitor, still find the hotel well above average, and outstanding for both closeness to and a useful distance from downtown Boston, the airport, and urban life generally. Staff are extremely outgoing. We weren't quite as impressed with the restaurant this time, but would eat there again. No time to swim in the ocean this trip, but recommend that... More
