My wife and I have been staying at the Williamstown Motel for many years. In fact whenever we attend the Williamstown Theater Festival the Motel is our first choice for booking a room. There are several reasons for this, including its proximity to the Theater Festival, the extremely competitive pricing, the always clean rooms, with air conditioning running full blast when we arrive, the convenient parking spot, right in front of our room, the serve your own breakfast available each morning, for several hours, in the Motel office, plenty of hot water in the showers, and a host of local magazines and tourist brochures availble in the office. While you won't confuse the Williamstown Motel for the Waldorf Astoria, it is a low key, very fairly priced 0throwback to a simpler time. A friendly place you enjoy because you feel welcomed and appreciated. The owner, Rocky and his wife, with the help of few hardworking staffers, do everything possible to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Discover you need an extra pillow at an odd hour? No problem, Rocky will be right over with two. And so it goes....

Very gracious and friendly hosts. Bend over backwards to accommodate the guests. Very clean accommodations. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in the room was very helpful. Never saw all 3 in a hotel room. Easy access and good location.

The host was knowledgeable and helpful in getting us oriented to the area. He specifically recommended a way to enjoy a magical sunset from Mount Greylock which we would have never discovered on our own. He was very accommodating and suggested we move to a different room to better meet our needs.

If you’re looking for a nice, clean and reasonably priced place to stay, this motel is perfect. The owners are super friendly and clearly take good care to maintain the property. As long as you’re not looking for a state of the art/fancy place, this motel is a great option.

Many of these reviews are misleading. Yes this is a convenient location. Yes, the owner is friendly and helpful. Yes it is kept clean. Understand that this is an older motel providing basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Keep in mind that you will see chipped paint, worn furniture, low sinks, cosmetic flaws (stains/scratches/punctures), and some items that are not in good repair but still usable. There was partial updating. You will have what you need for a short stay if your expectations are at the right level. This is not a "bad review," this is a realistic review. 5 star ratings don't normally apply to a property of this type, but that doesn't mean it may not suit your needs.

Hello Guest, thank you very much for your feedback. You started by saying "these reviews are misleading" and yet you said "YES" at least 3 times agreeing to the very reviews you called "misleading". They all know including yourself that we are not a 5 star luxury hotel with 10 thousand dollars worth of chandeliers hanging from the ceilings. Talk about being realistic, lets be realistic, if our property was flawless, you will be paying 10 times more than what you have paid and when you pay that much less, you can't really have super luxury expectations if you are being realistic. We advise you to read our reviews over 700 of them from our realistic guests, mentioning about the cleanliness, the convenience, the customer service, etc, and I promise you that not a single reviewer saying that our motel is a luxury hotel or a 5 star hotel. Therefore, OUR REVIEWS ARE NOT MISLEADING. Unfortunately, somehow, its you who is misled. Have a good life.

This was our second stay with Rocky. He is so kind and flexible - we arrived late and needed a late checkout. The room was comfortable and quiet. We had our dog with us and there is a quiet neighborhood behind the motel to walk the dog. Easy 1 mile walk to Williams. Complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay again!!
