Detailed Reviews
We typically travel on a budget, enjoy the quirkiness of older style hotels/motels and try and support small businesses whenever we can. Our trip to Williamstown was last minute and we were happy to find availability at the Williamstown Motel. The owner Rocky and his family live onsite. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable about the area, and full of recommendations, we could not have asked for a more gracious host. Warmth is what you feel from the minute you walk through the office door. While checking in (and the next morning) we were entertained by Rocky's adorable four year old daughter, whose sweet personality added to the charm of the hotel. We stayed in Room #2. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, with everything we needed (and more) for our overnight stay: queen sized bed, flat screen TV, desk, microwave, refrigerator, ironing board and iron, coffeemaker, blow dryer, basic shower items (shower cap, two soaps, shampoo and conditioner). Our room was heated by an electric heater, which kept our room at a very comfortable temperature, despite the cold weather. The room rate includes a continental breakfast, which we did not enjoy (instead we went to a local diner, which Rocky recommended), but I did note that the breakfast included: various teas, coffee, fresh fruit (oranges and bananas), two types of cold cereal, various breads and English muffins, and pre-packaged coffee cakes and muffins. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope we can return someday soon!

My husband and I spent a long weekend here and really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, attention of the proprietors, quiet of the location, and that rooms are available for people like us who travel with our dog. Right across the street is a delightful food coop that is open to the public, and the motel proprietor was eager to share recommendations for places to hike and dine. We will be going back!

What a nice place we found on our trip through New England! The owner, Rocky and his wife, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The rooms were spotless, everything (TV, Internet) worked the way it should, the breakfast was better and more varied than we get at many of the chain motels-particularly those with what they call "grab and go" bags. I call them "grab and get the hell out" bags.
Rocky and his family care about their guests, and that, my friends, is rare and priceless. You'll see prettier places from the outside with more floors, but you won't find a better value or people who value YOU more! Thank you Williamstown Motel for a great afternoon and evening, and a great start to the next day.

Clean room that you can get into straight from your car. Manager told me that they wait two days after a guest leaves to clean the room, then wait another 3 days before putting another guest in it. Made me feel very safe and will go back because of this smart protocol

Hello guest, thank you very much for your positive feedback. I remember you when you arrived, you were little hesitant and cautious. With this Covid-19, we have to be little more calculated and improvise on daily basis to provide safer accommodations to our guest by rotating the rooms smartly and methodically. Thanks for supporting our small, family run business and looking forward to welcoming you again soon. Stay safe and healthy. Regards, Rocky

Stayed here with a bunch of crew members and actors for a film shoot we were doing in the area. After extensively shopping around we landed on the Williamstown Motel because it offers the best location and rooms for the best price. We couldn't have been happier with the choice and Rocky, the owner, provided us with everything we needed. The rooms are spacious and clean so if your going up to that part of Massachusetts I highly recommend staying here!

I cannot speak highly enough about my recent stay at the Williamstown Motel. Rocky and his wife Najma and even their young children were nothing but friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. In addition to excellent customer service during check in, they provided relevant and helpful information about the best places to eat in the area. They also offer long term parking for thru hikers on the Appalachian/Long Trail and after almost a month in the woods, there is no where else I would have rather stayed. Beds were incredibly comfortable, the aesthetic was beautiful, the bathroom was clean and sparkling (especially loved the tiles and leopard print shower curtain!), and the property was very charming with views of the surrounding hills. 10/10 would stay again! You will not regret making a reservation. Thank you Williamstown Motel!

An older motel that has been completely updated and refurbished. Rooms are on the smaller side but they are incredibly clean with great attention to detail (microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, free WiFi and cable). Actual thank you notes from past customers (guests) on the bulletin board in the lobby. So touching to read! Complimentary breakfast. Very kind owner. Convenient to Williams College, Buxton School and the Clark. A great find!

Rocky was incredibly accomodating, waiting until nearly 12 a.m. to check me in and make sure I had everything I needed. This will not be forgotten and is truly appreciated. The room was very clean, warm upon my arrival and the location is central to the Williamstown/North Adams area. It's rare to receive this level of service especially in this price range
Thank you

I’m so glad I chose to stay at Williamstown Motel. I’m thru hiking the Appalachian Trail and this is a great spot to stop to resupply food at the local grocery store and get cleaned up. The Williamstown Motel has everything a hiker needs. First and foremost, Rocky is such a friendly guy and it’s so obvious how much he cares for his guests. He already had my room chilled down with the AC for me knowing I was walking there in the heat. First thing he did was give me a cold water and after giving me my key, he made sure I knew of all my dinner choices in walking distance. When I brought my laundry to him, he asked how the room was. It’s so clear he cares that the guests are happy. The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave as well. In the morning after I had breakfast there, he so kindly drove me back to trail so I didn’t have to do the road walk back to it. If I was hiking back through, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
