I recommend this inn. It is located along Hwy 2, a scenic hwy, in the forest, it has clean rooms, comfortable beds, A/C, offers breakfast (eggs, cereals, fruits, coffee, tea), no fridge or microwave in the room. Extremely nice and informative receptionist. It is located 10 min from Williamstown which has the nr. 1 Liberal Arts university in USA and... More

At the last minute we changed our weekend plans and ended up in the Williamstown MA area. We called ahead looking for a room for a family of four with dog in tow. The innkeeper's son Kent was patient and we finally booked the same day we arrived. I'll get straight to the point, the owner's Renee and Marty go... More

This is a simple, straightforward old-style motel with housekeeping amenities -- fridge, small stove, sink, microwave and coffee maker. Beds are okay; nothing to cheer about. Lots of hot water in the shower. Owners are friendly and accommodating. Good bet for a family, and modest prices for the area. A bit removed if you're going to Tanglewood, Lenox or Stockbridge... We decided last minute to stay near Greylock mountain after a long day hiking with our dog. I'm so glad we stumbled upon The Berkshire Valley Inn. The room was adorable, and pet friendly. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. They started a gorgeous fire for us late on a Tuesday night and sat with us to talk the... More

Wonderful classic family run motel, Nice spacious accommodation for family with two rooms and kitchen area. Great service! We arrived about 8:30 PM, hot and tired from a hike in the area, and they re-opened the pool so we could have a quick swim to cool off. Nice breakfast, clean, comfortable, reasonable ... worked great for us as family of... More

I got around to booking our lodgings in Williamstown a bit too late to get a vacation rental in the area, and the motel options closer in to Williams College, which was our destination, did not seem very appealing despite the low price point. Thank heavens we stumbled on the Berkshire Valley Inn through TA reviews; we'll never stay elsewhere... More

So we stayed another night to enjoy it fully. Clean rooms, good beds, clean pool, cosy bun fire in evening, breakfast with home cooking, much more than we expected for just 100$. On top the hosts are very friendly and helpful including local suggestions. Perfect location close to Mount Greylock hiking.

The Berkshire Valley Inn is affordable, clean and friendly. Breakfast is good and the staff is very helpful. The location is a fine home-base for wandering through the Berkshires. The outdoor pool and Marty's campfire are a bonus.

Terrific, helpful, and friendly staff. Not impressive from the road, and not the height of luxury, but a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay. Wide array of room configurations, so don't hesitate to ask for room(s) that meet your needs. Evening campfire by the pool and continental breakfast included. Like time travel to a very pleasant trip decades ago.

If you are looking for an affordable, clean, peaceful Inn in the Berkshire area, you have found it here. Outdoor pool was nice, night time fire pit was relaxing before bed. Quiet area, friendly & gracious owners with both their accommodations and their time. Thank you, hope to see you again.
