The front desk staff was GREAT! Very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated, but well kept and clean. The location was very convenient to major roads and close to amenities. When we arrived at our room, the heat was off and room was frigidly cold. Once we turned the heater on, the room did warm up quickly....

The good: The exterior of this motel was clean and seemingly well kept. The office staff was helpful and friendly. The diner is not open in the off season so there is no food available on site and the majority of nearby restaurants are also closed. This was to be expected, but just a heads up for anyone traveling in...

My husband and I stayed a couple nights a few weeks ago. Housekeeping must have been understaffed that day as the room was not ready until 3:30. Check-in time was at 3:00. Only other issue I had was were the locks to the buildings. Very hard to unlock with the keys they give. Overall, a nice place. Clean and staff...

Wife and I spent a few days on the Cape on a budget. The Tidewater Inn was clean, quiet, with a convenient location. The staff makes you feel at home and the property is safe. The dinner is great for breakfast. For what you pay, you more than get your money's worth.

This is my second stay at Tidewater, my first was in the summer. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The grounds and pool were well kept and clean. The room was perfect with a view of the water. This was a birthday trip for my sons' 50th, and it was just the perfect place to spend it!

Decided on a last minute trip to the cape. Knowing most motels have closed down for the season we found out that Tidewater stays open. We got a nice room, the desk clerk let us check it out first. It checked out fine, clean, neat and perfect for a last minute trip. We did stay on first floor since it...

I'm a little late in writing this review but I must say I really enjoyed my stay at the tidewater. My room was clean and had a beautiful water view of the pond. The new management that took over was attentive and very helpful always eager to please. The rates are more than reasonable considering what your getting compared to...

Over the years the Tidewater had been consistently good. While some others say the tide is going out for this hotel, I see the tide is coming back in. Recently sold by Voula, the new owners did the prudent thing in waiting for the summer season to pass before renovating and doing case goods (furniture) change-outs which they are now...

My husband and I and some friends stayed down the Cape for a week at a beautiful resort. We had it for a week and didn't want to leave so I found this place on the web. We stayed for a weekend and now wish we never did. The place was old and smelly. The doors to get in wasn't...
