With its location down an out-of-the way dirt lane in West Tisbury, Marjory's B&B was the perfect vantage point to explore all the corners of the Vineyard and then return to our quiet lodging to rest. The delicious coffee and homemade bread (plus more) for breakfast launched us on our way as we ventured out each day.
Even after the number of visits I have made, I enjoy each visit with Marjorie @ Broad Meadow a little more. The location is perfect for visits with my family, it is so close for my walks in the State Forest, and is just far enough from the traffic that it makes my travels enjoyable. To wake up in the mornings to her wonderful homemade breads and delightful breakfasts is simply outstanding. Speaking with her and learning of the island history and her part in it is also so very enlightening. Can't wait until my next visit....
Marjory is a wonderful host and a very interesting person, which made our stay the best. The service is great and the peaceful aura of Broad Meadow goes to your soul. Her bread and jams in the am are delicious. The apartment in a separate building was very comfortable - just perfect for two. You are surrounded by mother nature herself: flowers, shrubs and trees...and the meadow. An Oasis in the middle Martha's Vineyard.
This B and B fulfilled every detail of its description and more. Marjory is a great hostess and cook and baker, also. The meadow and surrounding trails were easy to get to and Marjory knows very much about the area features. This location of Broad Meadow B and B makes travel to other towns simple. I can’t say enough good things about our trip here.
We absolutely loved staying at the Broad Meadow B and B and considered it one of the best parts of our trip. Marjory- The island was even more lovely because of your hospitality and warmth! Thank you for helping make it a most wonderful trip.
We returned for a full week to Marjory's B & B and post-covid, it remains the same lovely place. Spacious, separate cottage with a new air conditioner (sometimes it gets humid near the coast!) and the same delicious fresh-baked bread. You can't beat this place for a quiet getaway that is just minutes from the beach and the awesome restaurants and shopping that MV is known for. Hoping to go back in the fall or winter.
We recently stayed here at Broad Meadow for 3 nights and had an incredible time. The space is perfect- comfortable and airy with everything needed for a relaxing weekend. Marjory provides a good breakfast which includes her homemade bread! The property is beautiful, deep in the woods , then opening up to a scenic meadow - with lush border gardens at every turn. A truly special place to enjoy a mini vacation ❤️
My husband and I went to Broad Meadow B and B for our first trip post-COVID, and it was really perfect! The room was a separate cottage like building: beautiful, clean, and bright, with access to the peaceful backyard and meadow via a private back door from the room. Marjorie was so accommodating, even starting our coffee when she dropped off the first course of breakfast in the anteroom (excellent homemade warm bread, fruit, cereal). This was followed by scrambled eggs, or omelets! She was so interesting and thoughtful, and it was a great pleasure talking to her and meeting her. The beaches and trails were wild and empty (pre-season), and sitting in the backyard/edge of meadow to eat our take out dinners was perfect. Will definitely go back - many times, I hope.
As soon as we arrived at the B&B we realized that it was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The lovely and quiet room is located in a detached house, with a private bathroom and a large shower. The windows overlook a large meadow, under a tree there is a hammock, and next to it the perfect meal table. Marjory, who is a lovely host, serves an amazing breakfast, with the best fresh homemade bread, with jams, a delicious frittata, fresh yogurt and fruit, juice, and hot coffee. The position of the B&B is perfect to discover the island and is surrounded by nature. I can’t wait to go back! (P.S in relation to COVID 19 Marjory was really safe about it, we were always wearing a mask and the room was perfectly sanitized when we arrived)
We have returned to Broadmeadow five times and this was our first winter stays. Our host, Margory Potts, has always been welcoming. She brings breakfast over each morning with fresh and delicious baked bread. The room is very comfortable to sleep in and spending quite times during the day. This year, Margory gave many helpful suggestions for island activities. Where as waters were too cold(December 6-9), We swam at the beautiful and new YMCA. We hope to return in the spring.
