Credit to the chef and staff for creating a wonderful wedding event weekend. Indoor and outdoor public spaces were attractive and spacious. Rehearsal dinner and reception were flawless; friends and family had a great time. Food was best I've ever had at a wedding event. HOWEVER, the accommodations left much to be desired. Various complaints to ownership included: burned out... More

We have just enjoyed a wonderful wedding at the Williamsville Inn. The location and grounds are really pretty, and first impressions are really good. However, despite lots of smiles from Candy and good food, the place is very tired and we didn't get hot water for the whole weekend. Also our room in the barn was damp.......and at this price... First impressions: Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds, flowers, plantings, and gardens. First time our small child (20 months) saw a turtle was in one of the gardens. The pool was not ready for the season. The room: comfortable bed, A/C works well, very small powder room (can't imagine any large person would be comfortable), leaky faucet, closet and... More

Sent this review from my blanket at a Tanglewood concert in late August 2014 during my 3 night stay at this wonderful inn. I guess it got lost because I did not see it posted at Trip Advisor. The perfect tranquil place to be in the Berkshires from its proximity to the music and art to its expansive lawn replete... More

I can still recall my first encounter with Kandy Wendt. I grew up in the Berkshires and had been living in Boston for a number of years after graduating from college. I got engaged in the summer of 2011 and I knew from that moment that I wanted to have my wedding in a true Berkshire setting. I searched high... More

Stayed here attending the Bay State Games. The king room was so nice. We were lucky to have a corner room that gave us two nice windows. The whole room was really nice. New wallpaper, bathroom, curtains and matching spread. The king bed was very comfortable. We had a desk, coffee maker (we didn't use that) and wireless internet. Very... More

We were looking for a place upstate NY for a quick vacation and we discovered this Inn that was recommended by Travel and Leisure. We had a very good time and most memorable was the excellent cuisine at the Inn. Will recommend it to friends and certainly would return, perhaps this fall.

We had such a wonderful time at the Williamsville Inn. We first discovered it when visiting my sister and her family when they stayed here. We knew at once we wanted to return with our daughter. What makes the Williamsville Inn so special is the array of attractions. Where else in this area can you find a place with the... More

Friends had been staying here for years and recommended it so highly that my husband decided to take me here for my birthday. We were not disappointed. The Inn and grounds appear as if painted for a postcard that reads "Hello from the beautiful Berkshires!". Kandy and Erhard could not be more welcoming and made us feel like old friends... More

My family and I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at the family-owned and run Williamsville Inn in West Stockbridge, Mass. The Inn itself was absolutely charming, with spacious and airy rooms, cozy dining area, and a tranquil conservatory with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful gardens and country setting. The husband is a gourmet chef of German and French... More
