We stayed here with the intention of going to six flags new england and then hitting up the pool if we had time. The kids loved it and want to go back. We are planning another trip to six flags and this hotel.

DO THE RESEARCH AND TAKE YOUR MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE. Rooms are outdated even though it says "newest room" you get what ever its available. The pool it's a extra fee $10 per person per day . It looks nice in pictures but the rooms are still outdated, switched to 3 different rooms until finally found a most decent room at extra cost $$

I stayed here for one night in May and the bed was comfortable, had nice, clean sheets and great pillows. I slept well and that's why I can give this at least 2 stars/dots/bubbles. Our room had a coffee maker, a mini fridge with a microwave oven sitting on it and a good size TV mounted to the wall. The rug was not very clean; we found some candy and a barrette on the floor as well as gritty stuff in the un-vacuumed space behind the fridge, which was not hard to see. The purple chair in the corner had stains on it of some sort. When I first drove up, if it were not for the other cars in the parking lot, I might have thought the place was semi-closed. The grass and bushes near the front door were overgrown and looked like there had been no post-winter cleanup at all. There was a little garden pond near the lobby entrance and it just looked totally shabby with dead plants, a random black wire hanging down from the roof of the hotel, broken signage on a stone wall, and bushes that we sorely in need of a landscaper's attention. Everything around the parking lot was overgrown, along with some driveway or path heading off into some vacant looking area. This hotel is set back from the road, behind a restaurant. The only patches of recently mowed grass were near the entrance sign and along the side of the hotel. After getting the room key, I drove around to the entrance closest to my room but not before encountering a spray-painted sign telling people not to throw trash in the dumpster. It read: "Smile...on camera..." Most hotels or even fast food restaurants put a gate around this kind of area, but not this place - they left this area open to view with a warning message on the fence that didn't even look good enough to be called unprofessional. That was the vibe of this whole property...it was like corporate came through and refreshed the rooms and lobby somewhat recently and then nobody cared or did much to keep the place looking good. Breakfast was ok but the dining area had drop-ceiling panels with gross stains on them. Guests could count on seeing trash cans right out in the dining area with no lids on them where the staff would scrape people's plates, letting food scraps pile up. Most places do this in the kitchen or at least not in the area where you eat. If you go to the bathroom off the lobby, avoid using the sink in the men's room that has the faucet mounted incorrectly or it will spay you right in the gut. This is another strange example of an area that received some decent fixtures and a refresh but details like how to install a faucet were overlooked. Finally, the pool or water park area: There are a couple water slides in the all-indoor water park/pool area. One very important thing to note is that the entire pool area does not open until 12:00, noon. Also, the pool/water park area costs $10 per person! You can't go for a swim like at most hotels without waiting until noon and paying $10!. The tables in the pool area have light rust forming on the surface too. Other random areas of this hotel needed work. A heavy door at the top of one of the stairways wouldn't say open because the magnetic fitting that holds it open was busted. Instead, there was some wire stretched out from the wall holding the door open. More trash collected overnight near the side entrance of the hotel. The windows of our room had those gray-whitish streaks on them that you see on older windows. Service doors to janitor closets in the regular hallway going to our room had small dents in them from years of being slammed or who knows what. One maintenance closet door even had a hasp on it like you'd install on a shed in your backyard. There are other places to stay near hear in a similar price range. Try another hotel instead of this one.

Room was dirty. Trash in drawers. Dust around the edges of carpet. Stuff stuck to the bathroom walls. Long check in time. Had to wait for probably 20-30 minutes while the only clerk had to book someone for their water park, which wasn't even open yet, while the manager sat in the office doing paper work and the line grew to 3 or 4 people.
