We were picking up our daughter at college in Boston, and we stayed overnight here in Waltham before proceeding on the long trip home to Maryland. The main thing here is that our room was very clean. It was also in very good condition, and we later read something that indicated that the rooms had been renovated, so that must not have been too long ago. The television was nice, and there was an iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Even though the room was small, there was plenty of built-in cabinet table-top space on top of the dresser drawers and heater vents. The shower pressure and water temperature selections were both working perfectly. By the way, we liked the dispensers available for the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner; it minimizes the waste of shower materials (plus, we liked the brand J R Watkins, which suds up well and smelled nice, but be forewarned that some reviews on Amazon indicate that the hotel version of the J R Watkins product may be less watered down than the Amazon version. There was not too much bathroom sink counter space, but enough to leave all your toiletries out on the counter. There was a Keurig coffee maker that we did not use and also a very compact looking microwave oven that we did not use. In the room, there was also a mini-refrigerator. Each of the two queen beds in our room had four pillows, two "firm" pillows and two "soft" pillows; we had no complaints about the beds. The wi-fi worked well for us in the room (phones and computers). We could hear noises from the hallway (including doors slamming shut at times (e.g., in the morning)), but that only occurred a few times here and there and luckily, we were already awake by then. There was plenty of free parking, which is always nice. I used the fitness center (currently operating at one guest at a time); it is a small room, but packs all the basics one would need, including: two treadmills, one elliptical machine, one recumbent bicycle, one bench to sit at while using the free weights, a few big stretching balls, and some yoga mats. Due to Covid-19 precautions, there is no breakfast buffet, but there are plenty of individually wrapped breakfast items available for grab-and-go, including Otis Spunkmeyer Wild Blueberry muffins and Chocolate Chip muffins, Hilltop Hearth Cheese Danish, Yoplait yogurts, skim milk, orange juice, apple juice, Quaker Oatmeal single serving bowls, single serving bowls of various cereals, and coffee. This location is convenient to anywhere in Waltham and is just a few miles (12-17+ miles; 25 minutes) away from Boston. We made a quick visit to see Brandeis University just for fun, and we stopped in briefly at the local Costco, which is just one mile away (0.6 miles, 13 minute walk) from the hotel. All in all, we enjoyed a very clean room upon our arrival and a convenient rest area for our trip to Boston.

Very nice staff, great rooms, great rates and decent breakfast. But finding this place is really difficult! Located in a confusing intersection in Waltham hotel/business district, it really needs some much better signage to be able to find this place. Google Maps almost got me killed by sending me around illegal left turns and confusing parking lots. Nice place once you find it, though!

We stayed here mid-week in March. The room was clean and neat but small. We were on the front side of the building (room 119) and had hardly any space to walk in front of the bed and there was only a desk chair!! Our adult son had a room on the back side of the hotel (across the hall from us- RM 120) and had much more space and a lounge chair on the side!! Size was an issue for us. But we choose this hotel as we were traveling with our 9 pound dog and they are 'pet friendly' (well, at a cost of $50). The bathroom was large and I was glad to see that they had a tub/shower (I like tubs!). Everything was spotless. I did appreciate that they have a printed TV channel listing and large tv (I find it hard to believe not every hotel has this!). I did enjoy their breakfast too. The selection was great- fresh oatmeal, pancakes, eggs w/ veggies, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, danish, muffins, toast, hard boiled eggs, etc etc! The breakfast staff kept the meal stocked and the area clean. I also love having my USA Today to read at breakfast! The location was good and easy to get to and easy to get to places we needed to go in town. The hotel has a gym, store for candy/food/personal needs and business center too. The room had a Kuerig, fridge, and safe. The only reason for 4 stars is the size of our room. The king size bed just took up all the space!

Staff ready to please. Very accommodating. Good location. Good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast. Gym was small but good equipment and everything worked. Close to downtown Waltham (taxi ride) which is a nice downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops.
