"Exquisitely off the grid" An elegant eco-hotel, Villa del Faro is a unique oasis nestled on a deserted beach. The Villa was created with the integrity of the surrounding desert in mind. We offer solitude instead of shops, safe swimming beaches, great books, gourmet food, snorkeling, surfing, and just pure beauty! One hour north of the Los Cabos Airport, but a world away in seclusion and serenity. Eight separate Casitas. Breakfast included.

Villa del Faro is a gem along the East Cape of Baja del Sur where relaxation and nature are prominent. This Villa, with only 8 private Casitas, is gorgeous, quiet, and eco-friendly. Situated in a birders paradise, one can watch whales spout and breech, sunrise in the morning, and take endless walks on the beach. We have spent two Februarys there and already have plans for next year. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. The Casitas are luxurious without being pretentious and each one has small patios which overlook the sea.

Our family has sampled many very nice venues all around Baja Sur, but nothing compared to our stay at Villa Del Faro! Unbelievable facility, awesome location, fabulous beach, and wonderful staff. From the moment we walked in we knew we were in for a special experience. Miles of empty Beach's with whales breaching off shore. Gorgeous pool and surrounding property. Great food and don't miss happy hour! Quiet, private, and just plain wonderful. You want a private home with all the benefits of a boutique hotel this is your spot. Incredible!

We spent 4 nights here and stayed in Casita Tres. Everything about our experience was top notch. The property itself is beautiful, situated on miles of empty beach perfect for walking, swimming and taking in the glory of the ocean. There are many places to sit and relax, and lots of art and architectural detail to take in--a perfectly serene environment. Our casita was its own perfect retreat, clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect and everything was in excellent repair. Daily breakfast is tasty and substantial, cooked fresh, something different every time. We also opted for daily dinners and these are highly recommended as well. Fresh, local, REAL food that is prepared with care and love. Best of all is the staff, from the owners (all family) on site to everyone else we encountered--warm, caring, and on top of every detail. My words cannot do this place proper justice. Really top notch--highly recommended. (Final note--the website contains accurate information--spend some time looking it over and it will begin to give you a sense of what is on offer via honest descriptions and photos.)

My husband and I stayed at Villa Del Faro in the Casa Azul and absolutely LOVED it!!! The ocean views are spectacular, the food and drinks are SO delicious, and the people (owners & staff) are very warm and caring. Huge shout out to Mateo and Eddie for going the extra mile, literally! (I accidentally left some clothes in the dresser and Mateo notified me immediately and Eddie brought my clothes all the way to San Jose del Cabo to return them to me.) We highly recommend this oasis if you are looking for peace and total relaxation. You will feel like you have your own private beach and pool! And look out for the beautiful hummingbirds, they are everywhere. We hope to go back someday!

We spent just 3 days here, and could have moved in. Just 7 rooms, 5 of them casitas ranging from the adventurous stonehouse on the beach to the luxurious suite at the too of the main house (which we stayed in) that included a fireplace and two king beds (1 outside overlooking the beach sunrise) and a kitchen. The breakfasts held with all the guests were delicious and plentiful sourced from local food. We ate dinner at the Villa every night as well, fresh caught fish one night. Slow cooked pork another. Chicken picata a third. The white sand beach goes on forever, and we watched whales breach every single morning, and at the end of the day too. 20 kilometers away is Cabo Pulmo where you can take snorkeling, diving and whale watching trips. This place is for sheer relaxing. Read a book. Put away your technology. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we drove away, and hope to get the chance to return one day. Best recharge ever.
