This place had been my first choice for a long time. Every year I’d think this is the year I’m going and then I’d wait too late and things would get booked up. But finally we made it. Pure bliss. Beautiful garden and pool area; calm, quiet and the suite was well appointed, spotless and very comfy. My only suggestion would be a tv in the sitting room to make it easier for guests to watch tv together vs going into one of the bedrooms. The toilet seat is out of this world and very pretty shower. Breakfast was excellent; Charles, and Debbie who serves the breakfast were helpful in giving advice and directions. He even gave us a ride one day which was much appreciated before we got our rental car. It is walkable to the ferry though I wouldn’t advise doing so in the heat with heavy luggage. Some advice - read the forums before you get there so you have a better sense of where you want to eat and what to do. We sort of winged it and while it all worked out, figuring things out like the bus routes and restaurant reservations before arriving would have probably saved us some time and money. Our first night was kind of a bust bc we didn’t know to make reservations and everywhere had a long wait or was closed. Also rent a car unless you really love biking (we do not). Lol I’d absolutely stay here again.

In August 2020 my girlfriends and I stayed in the Edgartown apartment suite. I can't say enough about our great stay, the Inn and Charles of course. Charles was very helpful as I asked a lot of questions prior to our visit. The property grounds are beautiful and well maintained and Charles does a lot of work on it himself. Our apartment was nicely decorated, clean and had lots of extra towels. Pool towels are also provided which is a plus. One highlight of the trip were the delicious breakfasts that Charles prepares himself and are eaten by the pool. We looked forward to them every morning. We used the free bikes to ride all around and there were a few times when we were walking to town Charles would offer to give us a ride. It really was like having a friend on the Island. It was a wonderful week overall. I highly recommend this Inn and if you get a chance get to know Charles because he has led such an interesting and cool life.

It's hard to even begin to list all the reasons we loved this trip. The attention to detail, caution, and obedience to COVID restrictions, delicious food, kind service, and a toilet that heats your buns and sprays you clean with warm water! WHAT!?!? Fresh flowers, beautiful grounds, great living spaces, and extraordinary hospitality! ALL TEN STAR!!! My friends and I rented the entire Inn for a birthday celebration, and it was amazing. We all had cozy private spaces and wonderful common spaces to share. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool, even in October, and socialized in 3 different living rooms. The island was lovely, the ocean sunsets spectacular, the shopping was impressive, and the food out was divine. WE will be back. This is like the perfect home away from home. You feel comfortable yet pampered beyond belief. Relaxed yet excited by all there is to do! If I could give them one hundred stars, I would take time to click everyone! Thanks, Charles & Charles, for memories we will cherish forever! #lovemyMVtime #loveC&CMV #MVSoulTime #MVRefreshed

Charles is super welcoming, communicative, and helpful. On top of that, he is a great chef - the breakfasts were unique, tasty, satisfying and very healthy. The room was bright and attractive, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the bidet seat, as I have these in my home and miss them when travelling. Another bonus was a garage full of well-maintained bikes, complete with helmets, baskets and an air station. We were unable to find a nearby bike trail, but as one local informed us, the whole island is a bike trail! The B&B location is about 3 blocks off the main street, but easily walkable.

My husband and I spent 6 nights in the Edgartown suite. Given the reviews we had high expectations but they were all exceeded. The space was perfect; the pictures do not do it justice. The grounds are lovely and with the garden setting it feels private and removed. It's hard to know where to start with the daily breakfasts. Delicious, creative, it gave us something to look forward to every morning. Charles was incredibly accommodating and available and even sent us a warm thank you note after our stay. We recommend Charles and Charles to everyone we know.
