We love tent camping and have been to many campgrounds throughout New England. This was a lovely family campground. I read the reviews below and clearly it's not for everyone but if you're a family looking to camp on Martha's Vineyard and explore the island this was great. We arrived on island with nothing but our bags, a tent, bicycles...

My girlfriend and I went camping here for the 4th of July weekend with another couple. We brought loaded up the motorcycle with all of our gear and met our friends who also had their motorcycles, who had arrived earlier that day and already set up. We had two tents in our campsite, a picnic table, and a fire ring....

This was my father and I's first experience at a campground in the new RV. When we arrived, after a 6 hour drive to the island, we were greeted very nicely. As we were setting up camp, one of the slides on my father's RV would not open. One of the employees, Dan, was driving by and saw we needed...

It was my first Island experience so far and I was very excited to explore and experience. Martha's Vineyard was my online research result where I took a group of 8 adults and 4 kids. While booking on phone, I was told that I cannot bring fire wood from mainland because of some reason which was fine with me. It...

I've been camping here for years and really enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. I usually stay with friends but it's a great family friendly environment with helpful staff. I grew up camping here and have fond memories of family biking trips to the beach, airport, or in town for an ice cream. Bike rentals are nice for my friends who don't...

Visited with some friends Memorial Day Weekend. We all paid $80 for three night, so $400 for a two room 6 bed cabin with running water out back and bathrooms down the hall in the lodge. Cabin was clean, small, beds were comfortable, also had a refrigerator and a propane grill. It's located about a 5 minute drive from Vineyard...

I am a single mom with a 10 and an 8 yo. We just booked our 6th vacation at Martha's Vineyard Family Campground. What I love most about it is how safe it is for families with children. They have a pretty decent playground, a small arcade/game room, a giant field and a borrow bucket full of bats, balls, rackets,...

Manager was utterly rude. Place is small, quiet hours suck and you have to put fire out early. DONT GO THERE WITH YOUR KIDS. Manager will yell at them and your whole family if they have the fire a minute over 10 pm...save yourself a bad time and dont go there!

We stayed at the campground Aug 7-14 and rented rented a tent site. The sites were a bit small but were flat and shady and easy to get in and out. This us a small but quiet campground. There are about five stand-alone showers near the office and four extra showers in each of the male and female restrooms, all...
