Mike and I were in town for a big family event and stayed at the Amerscot House Inn. When we checked in, we just adored how the Inn was decorated. It wasn't fussy or cluttered. The Inn is cozy, peaceful, and pretty. We were really impressed with the character and historic detail of the house! Our host Vicky was professional,... More

Spent the last nights of my first trip to the U.S. in this beautiful house. Wonderful warm hospitality, with every single need thought about and more than met. Such thoughtfulness and care for guests' comfort and enjoyment is a rare thing. It really was the icing on the cake for my daughter and me, and left a really great last... More

We stayed at Amerscot House for a night in October 2013 and were genuinely impressed with the level of hospitality provided by Viki which led to a really enjoyable stay. The house is large and very attractive with plenty of communal space. Our room (Gibson Room) was very large and really comfortable. Breakfast was big and seriously tasty! The attention... More

Amerscot House Inn was the highlight of our recent trip to the USA. Vicki and her husband Andy could present a masterclass in hospitality. Their welcome, attention to detail and overall care for guests at their beautiful Inn is unrivaled. Nothing is too much trouble for Vicki. She even washed and dried some clothes which had been stained by a... More

We stayed at Amerscot House for one night only at the end of our holiday, now almost 2 weeks ago, and can honestly say that this was the perfect end to our trip. We stayed in the Gibson room, which was extremely spacious, and immaculately presented. Breakfast was excellent, and both Viki and Andy made us most welcome. May we... More

I have not stayed in a better bed and breakfast! Beautiful, comfortable accommodation with hosts, Vicki and her husband, who cannot do more for you. I would not stay anywhere else on my next visit to New England - can't wait to return!

My husband and I just recently spent two nights at the Amerscot House Inn. We had a wonderful stay and could not recommend this B&B more highly. When we made our reservations, we requested a certain room, but since that room was unavailable we were given an upgraded room at the same price. We were greeted by the owners on... More

Title: A bride's description… We flew in from Europe to a home wedding cerebration in Stow where my husband grew up. The reason we chose this Inn was because it is near the church and we liked the yard for taking photos. Two months prior to the event we met with Vicky, the Inn keeper. At one point, we discussed... Another deep breath. A tit-for-tat response is pointless, so just a few facts. 1. I never, ever, switch rooms without guests' agreement. When the original reservation was rescheduled to a later date, these guests were told their first choice room was not available for the new date. The suite was offered - they had viewed it on their visit -... More
