The hotel is very clean and beautiful. When ever we had a question or problem, they bent over backwards to please and accommodate. Helena, the head housekeeper is a real gem; and so knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was very meager and the staff never noticed when out food or coffee covers ran out. It was a very expensive deal to eat there. This is the only reason I did not give this place 5 stars.
We stayed on Friday and Saturday night for my daughter’s wedding. The staff was amazing , very accommodating! We were able to get some beautiful pictures on the beautiful staircase. Great experience! We live in CT but would definitely come back for a weekend stay.
Southbridge is a beautiful and elegant hotel. The staff is welcoming & very helpful. The rooms are classicly decorated, comfortable & well organized. When we find ourselves in the area again we will be back.
Had a great little getaway "staycation" with my husband. It was a great stay, property was super clean and staff was super nice. There was a restaurant downstairs, burgers were delicious and affordable. We will def be back.
We stayed 1 night for a wedding. The facility was nice, had plenty of lounge areas and a nice outdoor fire pit. The drinks were good and the snacks were good at the after party. The place was clean, and the hotel room was spacious. The staff was very friendly.
Staff unwilling to help when valuable missing item was left behind. Was lied to by staff who seemed willing to help - but there was no follow through on the promise. Beautiful facility, rooms not updated - beds felt like boxsprings. Overall, would not recommend.
The property was well maintained but the surrounding area was run down and did not feel safe. The staff was a bit curt, most likely short handed, like most places these days. The room was clean, but dated with very firm mattresses. We enjoyed all the amenities, like the pool, outdoor patio and yard games. I would skip the restaurant/bar. The fries were good but the beer on tap was flat and all the food was bland and overcooked. Sadly, it reminded me of old airplane food. Overall, the stay was ok if you can get an affordable rate
After a long day at the flea market this is a great place to relax. Very clean, the beds are comfortable. It would be much better if the bar/restaurant was open during the week. In the past we would grab a burger and a beer and crash in our room. It is only open on Friday and Saturday-very disappointing.
Great hotel for anyone in the area. Rooms were clean and spacious. TV's could be updated. Restaurant in the hotel had great service and good food. The kids enjoyed the pool, plenty of parking. Staff was courteous. Restaurant staff was great.
The very best pool and hot tub I've ever experienced in any hotel. The pool was large, perfect temperature and extremely clean. The hot tub was at a perfect 104 degrees and super clean yet didn't smell like chlorine. Then rooms were spacious and the bed super comfortable. The shower had great water pressure.
