My wife and I got married on Saturday June 22nd. We could not have asked for anything better. Every single person that works there was so kind and helpful in every way. Bruce and Missy were the best. We had such a wonderful wedding and everyone there enjoyed it as well. We will most definitely be back. Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Steve Smith.

We had a great stay here. Like so many places, you have to understand what you’re getting. They rooms are clean and comfortable but not marble bathrooms, etc. Our room had a nice view of the beach and the Sound. The restaurant was GREAT for breakfast and the outside snack bar was nice also. The beach bar was a lot of fun. The pool was nice and the beach just steps away. Most other things are a mile or two away. Cell coverage was spotty but the hotel had free WiFi. Parking is tight but they were able to accommodate another car (for a fee). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would gladly stay at

Thank you for taking the time to review us. So happy you enjoyed the facilities and the food outlets. We are a mature property but are constantly upgrading our guest rooms every year in order to make your next stay even more enjoyable. Hope to see you on the beach in 2019.

We booked a short 2 night stay to celebrate my spouse's 40th birthday. The location of the hotel is ideal. Unfortunately, we had not very good experience. Red Jacked owns a series of properties alongside the Blue Water Resort. They are poorly maintained and require upgrading and better care. The toilet in our room did not flush from the first use when we walked in. Our family rented a cottage for which they paid considerably more and it looked so outdated and worn in appliances. The food quality at the restaurants is very poor. They cook in cheap polyunsaturated oils or grease and you can taste it. Moreoever breakfast was a rushed experience of getting pushed out of the restaurant to make room for everyone else. The staff look seemed inexperienced and poorly equipped to be appropriately dealing with guests. The management team only seemed interested in yelling at the staff, visibly frustrated and agitated. I unfortunately also had the experience of being double charged at the property as their reception staff do not seem well trained or verse in reservation booking. I used a 3rd party, booking.com, which has always served me well in the UK and Europe but perhaps not well organized at Blue Water. All in all, for $300 a night I would NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent visit. We apologise for the fact that there were two entirely independent reservations made in your name for the same dates and that you felt that you had been double charged. One online reservation was made on your behalf through Expedia and the other online reservation through Booking.com. Upon receiving a call this morning regarding these double reservations, we attempted to explain this and were willing to provide the documentation (two separate reservations for the same dates) to the caller from each third-party company, as well as the Customer Service contact information for each so that they could rectify the situation, the explanation and information was not acknowledged or accepted and the caller hung up. We did try to assist in the rectification and are still most willing to provide the aforementioned documentation.

We have come to the Cape almost every year for 50 years and in all that time we have found the Blue Water Resort to be our favorite hotel. The accommodations are superb. The rooms are clean, quiet and with a beautiful, pristine, private beach right outside your door, who could ask for more! The staff is always friendly and helpful and even surprised us by placing a special little "gift" in our room to commemorate our 50th anniversary. It was a vacation we will always remember and hopefully we can continue to stay here many times in the future as we begin our next 50 years of marriage!
