Cranberry acres Jellystone is a typical franchise campground which has themed weekends lots of kids activities,a great pool area, nice playgrounds a small laser tag area, mini golf,a ice creme shop, etc. The issue is they always seem to be short-staffed they offer things like breakfast with a bear but the character is there for the first 15 minutes only,or bear- mail to your site but no bear just park staff who mostly fly around on golf carts kicking up dust. Their list of activities sounds great but falls short for most activities. Pros= fantastic pool area nice playgrounds food from food truck is surprisingly good. Cons = poor road conditions poor execution on activities, pricey,
this campground could be so much better if it was properly staffed and managed. A weekend trip here is still fun just for the pool area which is probably the best I've seen at any
campground.

Thanks for your feedback, Michael. We're glad you enjoyed our pool area and playgrounds! We're always looking for ways to improve so appreciate the feedback. Our character appearances are usually around that time due to safety measures for the staff in costume. Your insights on activities are valuable to us as we strive to make Cranberry Acres even better. We hope to see you again!

The drinking water is brown. The landscape is sparse and mostly weeds. For what you pay, there should be appropriate landscaping. All campsites are in the direct sun. There are many activities, but quite a few cost additional money such as laser tag. These activities also rapidly fill-up. The cost of buying woos at the campground is outrageous at $13.25 a bundle. Our children enjoyed the pool and water park. It's nice for a short stay if you bring your own shade and water.

Hi Stephanie, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate your comments about the landscaping and pricing of amenities. We do add what activities are an extra fee on our website but we are sorry if this caused any issues. Our water is tested regularly and meets the standard but we do offer bottled water for those that request it! We're glad to hear your children enjoyed the pool and water park!

Best family resort in New England. They have tons of activities from gem mining to candy bar bingo. Maintenance staff is amazing will help with any issue that arises. Food truck is delicious they even have a cute ice cream shaped building with dessert. They have a new store that doesn't disappoint. Definitely would recommend checking it out

I am here camping with a travel trailer. The drinking water is brown, even with a filter. Several cabin sites near us were burning garbage most evenings, horrible smell. When walking around the site many fire pits are full of garbage to burn. There are no trees or shade. Large groups of kids run through the site to get to cabins behind, unplugged electrical and punctured water hose. The people cleaning the cabins come around with golf carts blasting music. No grass just weeds. 5 mph Speed limit must only be for cars, golf carts flying along kicking up dust. Amenities are so far apart. This trip was very sad. Just came from the pool, sitting along edge trying to relax, a very crowded pool. No supervision. Kids throwing frisbees and small footballs the length of the pool. While I was sitting there a kid jumps in, his mom says let’s go. The kid tells her he is peeing. The mom says hurry up we need to go. Glen Ellis in North Conway, NH is so much nicer. Cranberry Acres is not the worst place I have camped but leaves a lot to be desired.

Came to try Cranberry Acres as we tried Glen Ellis last year and loved Glen Ellis. While here at Cranberry we can’t get a golf cart booked for the whole time said to check back daily don’t have a waiting list. My father is handicapped and can’t walk far at all. Asked Friday and called this morning to see if one was returned told me no but could try at 1pm. WiFi doesn’t work (too many ppl) called the number for WiFi told me the unit does have a router, called front desk, guy said maybe keep windows open to let WiFi signal and YouTube works. Advertisement shows bedroom with AC and the 2bedrooms cabins don’t have AC in rooms so they are hot unless keep doors open but the screen porch cabins have ac in bedroom. Also don’t have a TV in the main bedroom but has the electrical and hookup for it. Everything is spaced out too far (pool area to playground, Gaga ball and pool to ice cream and food truck)
Went to signup for lazer tag for tonight only 8 spots and already full by 10AM for the evening and can’t sign up for tomorrow night and that’s our last night here. Glen Ellis was like 20 ppl at a time for lazer tag. If can’t accommodate more than 8 why not offer a couple more times at evening than just once. And if you’re a camper who likes the woodsy area, haha not here they clear cut everything just about. Cabanas are over priced. Oh and the Beach - is not a beach I would never go in that water. I’ve been to plenty of campgrounds on a pond but the water is cleared of the muck and has swimming ropes off so fishing has to happen in the sides., not here!

Looking forward to seeing the updates new management intends to make. At present the sites are small in some areas, no cable, and a bit pricey for the amenities included. I would suggest not mixing RV’s with tent campers too. One feature I did like that boosted my rating to good vs poor was the check-out time of 1:00 pm. Most places are 11:00 am so that was a nice perk.

We have spent two years as seasonal campers in Jellystone Cranberry Acres and we are looking forward to another great season. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the facilities are immaculate and we are addicted to the Tastee treat stand. We have purchased food at the Food truck and it was very good and the prices are not out of line for the area. We love the easy access to Plymouth and Cape Cod. Come and see for yourself…it is not your ordinary campground! Can’t wait to try the new water park!

We had the best time was so relaxing as well as so much to do with the grandchildren. It was Christmas in July and they go all out to make it special for the children. I loved our site overlooking the cranberry bog it was magical. We really enjoyed meeting Dan and Christine they made us feel so welcomed and spent some time with us at my daughters site. Thanks for a wonderful weekend you’ll be seeing us again and again. Was nice to meet Yogi Bear to!
