In July 2022 my wife and I spent two nights at the Isaiah Jones Inn in Sandwich, MA. Our room was the Dr. Jonathan Leonard room and we loved it. The house was built for Dr. Leonard in the 1840s’ and the family lived there for some 20 years. It was then sold to Isaiah Jones and stayed in his family for decades, thus the name “Isaiah Jones Homestead”. The house is old but well-maintained and beautifully furnished. The furnishing is appropriate for the age of the home giving the guests a feeling of staying with close friends or relatives. Our room was fairly small but lovingly appointed. The mattress and pillows were soft but surprisingly comfortable. The shower, though tiny, was adequate. The breakfast room has large windows and glass doors leading to a colorful garden. The breakfasts were were large and tasty. The heart and soul of the Isaiah Jones Bed and Breakfast is Katherine, the Innkeeper/owner. She has been pouring time, money, exquisite taste and love into the place for the past sixteen years. Kathrine is a very likable, warm, cheerful and friendly woman. On our arrival she heard the car and came out to greet us and help with our overnight bags. She was available throughout our stay for a brief chat or to answer a question. With Katherine at the helm we would happily return to the Isaiah Jones Bed and Breakfast.

Beautiful inn located in historic Sandwich village. Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. My room was beautiful, cozy, clean and warm. Favorite part of the stay was the unbelievable breakfast. Was served coffee, juice, homemade cranberry scone w/jelly, grilled pineapple with balsamic glaze, pumpkin pie spiced French toast with bacon and strawberries!

The Inn is located in Sandwich Massachusetts on cape cod. Such a quaint historical town with a few shops, cafe n restaurants. We stayed at Isaiah Jones in the carriage house which is separate from the main house. There are 2 suites in the carriage house which are lovely. King size bed which was very comfortable n beautiful sheets. The suite had a whirlpool tub which was heavenly, a couch that opened up to a bed and was immaculate. The Inn is run by Catherine who is so delightful n so accommodating. Breakfast was a 3 course meal in a lovely dining area w lovely tablecloths n beautiful dishes. Catherine’s scones, muffins, frittata n orange french toast were delicious. Looking forward to returning 💕

We had never been to Sandwich, MA. This is a very cute little town. The Isaiah Jones B&B is very nice, quiet and relaxing. The innkeeper and staff are all wonderful and accommodating. The Dr. Samuel Beale room was nice. Bedding is very soft. Bathroom is small (could use an extra little table or shelf to place your personal items, like toiletry bag, makeup, etc.). We loved the history of the place too. Breakfasts are so delicious, even the fresh-squeezed juices (combo of orange-cranberry is really good). We walked to restaurants which are really good. Some cute shops in walking distance as well (short walks). We also walked to the "boardwalk" to the little bay beach (about a mile away). There are some great restaurants in the area as well to drive to. Worth the stay.

Quaint, quiet and quintessential Cape Cod summarizes our three night stay in Sandwich. Isaiah Jones would be quite proud of what Katherine has done to turn his home built it in 1848 into a welcoming and wonderful Bed & Breakfast! The rooms are spacious, well appointed with period furniture and quite comfortable with modern amenities. Katherine and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And those breakfasts- WOW! Served in a beautiful room on various selections of elegant china, these multi course breakfasts were outstanding and delicious! Having celiac disease as I do, can be a challenge in many restaurants. But Katherine made the most delicious gluten free scones, muffins, and pancakes for me!!!! And my husband absolutely loved his breakfasts, which were far from normal! Thank you to Katherine for our most memorable and delightful stay in your exemplary Bed & Breakfast!

When you think of booking a hotel for a vacation, ideally you look for value, cleanliness, ambiance, quality, professionalism, splendid breakfasts, superb service and exquisite attention to detail. So other than Fantasy Land, where would you find such a vacation place that meets all of these standards? Well, look no further than, Isaiah Jones Homestead Bed and Breakfast in Sandwich, Cape Cod. This quaint Victorian B&B is sheer perfection. The rooms are so well appointed, the beds comfortable, the shared living room and study are so inviting. The warmth of these rooms are the perfect place to share a conversation and have a glass of sherry or port, before turning in for dreamy night’s sleep. Feel like a cup of coffee or tea? How about if it’s available to you 24 hours a day! You never have to worry when, or whether or not your room has been cleaned. Believe it or not it is magically serviced while you’re enjoying a delectable 3 course breakfast in the dining room. Katherine, the innkeeper, and her incomparable staff, welcomes you as if you had been a friend of this hotel forever, even if it is actually your first time, as it was ours. We were so fortunate to have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Katherine’s cousin, Susan, with her fabulous sense of humor and inviting personality, and Holly and Emily with their friendly smiles and their convivial natures. But it is Katherine that runs this B&B, with her perfect vision and expertise and her impeccably delicious breakfasts. Her unbelievable attention to details are surpassed by none. And for those guests who may be missing their beloved pets at home, fear not, because the wonderful, sweet, loving and beautiful dog Bella, upon request, could be right by your side, providing you with all the love and kisses that anyone could possibly want. So what are you waiting for? Don’t hesitate, pack your bag and go vacation at Isaiah Jones Homestead B&B, because you really deserve it! Susan, Lucille and Judy New York

From the moment that innkeeper Katherine welcomed us at the front door until our departure 6 days later, we were treated as treasured guests. Katherine with her team of former innkeepers serve a beautifully prepared full breakfast daily (on lovely heirloom china) in the spacious dining room. The frittatas, muffins, and fresh fruits were beautifully presented. We just loved how they were prepared. The team starts the day by making sure guests have the ideas/suggestions they need to get the most out of their stay in this historic area of Cape Cod, and that they are comfortable and their needs are met. While we were out, rooms were cleaned. Notable, we had every confidence in the measures taken to sanitize during the continuation of COVID precautions. We stayed in the Deming Jarves Suite (learn more about him at the Sandwich Glass Museum!). The beautifully appointed rooms were spacious and quiet, with windows on three sides overlooking Main Street. There is a compact library of travel and other books, and a collection of games and videos, in the two parlors on the main floor. Wifi works fine for your devices and communications. There's a little fish pond out back, and comfy chairs should you want to relax a bit in the garden area. The inn is located on the beautiful early American main street of historic Sandwich, within walking distance of local attractions and restaurants. Even this main street is "off the beaten path", reminding us to relax and take in the rhythm of a less hurried era. We enjoyed walking through the town, where structures from the colonial years through the Victorian era - and numerous beautiful gardens - abound. For several years, I ran a B&B, always focused on how best to extend hospitality to guests. Katherine and her team excel at the art of welcome and comfort! Thank you, Katherine! Jeff and I are planning our return.

My mother and I stayed at the Isaiah Jones Homestead on the Cape Cod leg of our travels through New England. We stayed in the Dr. Lombard Jones room. What a treat! Other reviewers have mentioned the attention to detail, but truly there was nothing missed. The room and the adjoining bathroom were lovely and comfortable, and worth the hike up the stairs (it is an old house, after all))! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with roasted plums and triple citrus French toast with berries and sausage. Perfectly delicious and wonderfully presented. The inn is perfectly situated near the shops and restaurants, not far from the boardwalk and beach and other attractions in Sandwich. The innkeeper Katherine is wonderful and deserves much praise.

We returned from a very relaxing weekend at the Isaiah Jones Inn. It's our first visit to stay in Sandwich, which we enjoyed for its very relaxing environment. We stayed in the Thomas Decker room, lovely bed, two chairs which we used alot, great large bathroom. The Inn has great history and charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and talking with our hostess Katherine. One morning we sat on the patio overlooking the wonderful yard. One afternoon, we relaxed in the back yard on cushioned adirondack chairs and enjoyed a coffee and our books. It was heaven for us! We also took advantage of the port one evening. The Inn is close to all the shops and restaurants, which we liked as well. You can walk to the beach boardwalk too. Great weekend and we hope to get back soon!

What a lovely place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and Katherine was a very welcoming and attentive hostess. Very comfortable accommodations (we were in the Dr Beale room), and breakfast was a treat every morning with the fabulous food and the pretty place settings that changed daily. Very quiet setting and an easy stroll to other restaurants and shops. Bed and linens were of high quality and very comfortable. If a small shower bothers you - it didn’t bother us - then pick a room with a larger bath. Our room was perfect for us. A bonus was watching a mother Robin sit on her nest at the front door. Even she was pleased with the accommodations! :)
