Had a very nice stay here. The room was very nice with a porch seating room and and outside balcony. Wonderful ocean views. Breakfast was very tasty. Items made to order plus the usual breads and cereals.

This is a very old place, with a lot of wood work. Period furniture and a old fashion charm. Our room the Flying Cloud has two balconies. One was in closed with a heater and one outside. Breakfast is made to order for you. Not a buffet. We were even given a free upgrade due to being the off season.

Thanks for your wonderful review and comments about the inn. The Yankee clipper Inn has had a very famous gust list thru out the years such as JFK, John Lennon, Bette Davis, and Paul Newman. The Flying Cloud and Red jacket suites are gorgeous and there are heater units in both the bedrooms and attached indoor sunrooms. I am glad...

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Yankee Clipper Inn. If you love authentic charm and understated elegance, you'll love this little inn. Gorgeous water views, friendly staff, deliciious and generous breakfast. Remember, this is a beautiful old in that's been renovated through the years to add bathrooms, heating and air conditioning, etc. If you're looking for a cookie...

The Yankee Cipper Inn was the first B and B we stayed at on our 2 week tour of New England. Only a little over an hour drive from the Boston airport, it was the perfect location to begin our vacation. Michael was attentive and knowledgeable about local restaurants and activities. He steered us in the right direction for our...

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. My staff and myself are so happy you enjoyed your visit at the Yankee Clipper Inn. Yankee Clipper is somewhere between a B&B and an inn--not as chummy or as cute as many B & Bs, but smaller scale and attentive than larger inns. The location, away from the tourist traffic in the center of town but just a short drive away, and the views of the harbor are terrific, just what I've always loved in Rockport....

We had a wonderful stay at the Yankee Clipper--views were spectacular, rooms were very spacious and clean, breakfast was delicious, staff was attentive and friendly-enjoyed our chats with Peter! The inn is central and close to the activities in town and around. I would highly recommend!

3 stars for the inn, 5 for value. Our family of 15 stayed 4 days at the inn for our daughter's intimate wedding celebration. The location is superb - the garden looks out onto the waves crashing on the rocks below. The views from some of the rooms, especially on the top balcony, and from the breakfast room, are superb....

Thanks for taking the time to review us and having your daughters wedding here at the inn. It was our pleasure to have your family as our guests. We LOVE the Yankee Clipper Inn SO MUCH we were married here — in June 2002. That's the ultimate compliment. It was like a friendly fairy tale — and a relatively affordable, very comfortable one too, as informal or elegant as desired. We enjoy an annual stay here on Cape Ann whenever possible, in any season. The building, its grounds,...

The Yankee Clipper Inn has 2 buildings the main building and our Bulfinch House. Your room had an ocean view and a shared outdoor patio in a very beautiful and historic 1840 home. Homes of that age were built closer to the street but certainly not 12 feet or 4 meters from the street as your description indicates (Much more...
