This was our 4th stay at this amazing B&B and yet again we were thrilled to be here. The staff is spot on, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was hot and cooked to order as always. We cannot say enough good things about this inn, and are already looking forward to our next visit here. Thanks... More

On the water with nice views. Very comfortable room with Queen bed and a seating area, private bath. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and continental fare while you wait for the 0830 breakfast start. We will gladly return when we are again in the area.

We were staying in Room #7 in Bulfinch House. The description and photos of the room provided on the hotel website are accurate: the king-size bed was comfy, the bedding was of good quality, the view was really nice, and the separate dressing room is so very convenient! The grounds were lovely! The wedding arch decorated with withered flowers looked... More

I should have read the web site more carefully. The property consists of the main house, closer to the water, and the Bulfinch House, which is up on a hill. It is true that there is an ocean view from the room we stayed in. But about 12 feet from our bed was a somewhat busy local 2-lane highway, and... More

Thanks for staying with us and taking the time to review the inn. The Bulfinch House is an 1840 historic home that sits across the street form the main inn and there is due to where it was constructed is a little close to the road for a couple of the rooms. I'm glad you enjoyed the view, staff, and... More

Wasn't clear that we would be staying in a building across the street from the main Inn where the great ocean view from the gazebo and the breakfast room locations were, but it was only across the street and we could handle it. Steep driveway, might be a challenge for older folk. Our room was small, no place to put... More

Our first time in Rockport/Gloucester - this place was great. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Room was clean, neat, comfortable - with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. Very nice - definitely will visit again. Thank Mike and staff for a wonderful stay!

The inn was lovely, gorgeous view from our room, even pulling up outside it was spectacular. It was clean, and Mike, the manager, seems very involved and is helpful for little things that come up. The tea and coffee available at all times were very nice and we enjoyed. The food was fine, though not great, but was nicely served by... More

We returned to the Yankee Clipper Inn after a few years and it was just as great as I remembered. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, but what I really love is how the buildings feel historical, yet so pretty and comfortable. The views are a sight to see. Thanks for your fantastic review. We are very fortunate to have a tranquil place that is close enough to downtown Rockport, but also has everything you need to hang out just on the property (gazebo, pool, chaise loungers). I hope you do get a chance to visit again in the fall or winter as it is beautiful as well. More

We returned to the Inn and decided to stay in the Bullfinch House since it hadn't yet opened when we last visited. It did not disappoint! The house was beautifully restored with tasteful period furnishings and woodwork befitting its 18th century origins, but also included all the modern amenities. We stayed on the first floor with a lovely shared patio... More

Thank you for your review. We took back over the Bulfinch House (an 1840 Historic home built by famed architect Charles Bulfinch) in 2014 and kept the historic tradition but added some more modern features that have made the house truly beautiful now in 2016. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and our wonderful made to order breakfast. We... More

I'm sorry you found your stay different from what was advertised not directly through the Yankee Clipper Inn.
