Nice room, convenient, very good breakfast. Would go again. Nice dogs. Host was helpful. Definitely would go again. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and very clean. If you want to stay at a BandB, this is a good choice.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lantana House in Rockport, Massachusetts. This B&B is located very close to the Town center and Bearskin Neck section of Rockport which has plenty of shops and restaurants. We literally walked over for dinner and shopping. Our room was located on the first floor next to the dining area. As a result of Covid-19 we had to where masks as we walked in and out of the place but it was fine and to be honest we felt very safe because the other guests did so as well. The owners provided breakfast and they served us with all of the care necessary during this days. Breakfast was a great start with fresh and delicious breakfast options. The two days I was there I had yogurt with granola and fresh fruits. The fruit options was kiwi, peaches, pineapple, strawberries and mangoes. We also had bagels, English muffins and hard boiled eggs. The B&B was very clean and the owners were very hospitable. After a long day of sightseeing we decided to relax on the front porch which was really cute. We sat and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with some snacks. Our room was small but it provided all the necessary things for our stay-full sized bed, small bathroom which was fine. The only drawback was we had a tiny TV but it was fine since we really only needed it to sleep and shower. The owner was really nice, we spoke about going out for a pizza and he actually offered to pick it up because he was going to the same place. We felt really safe and by the way they had parking which you will realize is quite the commodity in Rockport. Ultimately we enjoyed the B&B and will absolutely go back if we visit Rockport again. …
This is a charming little B&B just minutes walking distance from Bear Neck and all the fun stuff. Richard and his wife run the house and are very friendly and accommodating. If I had a complaint it would be that the house is right on a main strip and a lot of traffic can be heard out front in addition to the church next-door bongs every hour. On my third night I discovered that there is a white noise machine on my nightstand. Would return.
I had a delightful stay at Lantana House in mid-June. The location is truly amazing - an easy walk to Dock Square, Bearskin Neck, and Front Beach. The house is lovely. My room was very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed spending time on the breezy front porch in the evenings. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - a wonderful way to start my day. I stayed here just as lodgings were opening for Phase 2. Richard and Tracey were following all of the rules (social distancing, face coverings etc), and I felt very safe and comfortable. Loved staying here and am likely to return!
We came to Rockport to attend a performance at the Shalin Liu center and stayed over on Saturday night. The Lantana House was the perfect place to stay. It’s a five minute walk from Shalin Liu and most of the restaurants in town. The B&B is very comfortable, our room was immaculate and nicely appointed with the amenities such as a hair dryer, cable TV, WiFi, toiletries. There is a refrigerator one flight down to store your snacks. The continental breakfast was great—all sorts of home baked quick breads, granola, yogurt (both made by the owner) cereal, cheese, etc. The coffee was great, too. Excellent place to stay in Rockport.
