Nicely kept grounds, comfortable beds, updated rooms, convenient location to nearby attractions. Little outdoor seating area with fire pit. Our family of 4 - two teens - were very pleased with our stay. Farm market a few doors down. Public transportation station across the street for traveling to the city.
Our second stay was as good as our first. This illustrates that they care about their guests. Our room was clean and neat, off season rates competitive and it’s location to the shops in Rockport, excellent. We didn’t it have time to try the pool, so we’ll have to make another trip and plan more time to do so.
60th Birthday sisters getaway. Clean, comfortable, affordable pricing, great location, super friendly staff, nice continental breakfast with great coffee served all day, great amenities, pool and jacuzzi tub, outdoor fire pit, just all around WONDERFUL. We used the dining room at night to play cards and craft. This hotel provided everything we were looking for. Both dining recommendations were great. Great locations to Downtown Rockport and Gloucester. Most of all I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel This will be a destination I will go to again.
We stayed two nights here in October. The room was clean, breakfast standard and the coffee was good. It was a short walk to bearskin neck. Rockport is so charming, especially in the fall. The colonial houses, the pumpkins and decorations and the foliage. There is no better place.
The impression of the lobby walking in was very good, it had been very nicely renovated and the customer service at check in was great. The landscaping and the pool and bonfire area were a very nice touch. The room itself was better than I anticipated, but was overall lacking. It was really nice to have a microwave and mini fridge in the room, and the room was quite spacious. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. I felt like I was being poked in the kidneys with the springs all night long and ended up using the decorative pillow. My husband, who could sleep through a major natural disaster, also complained to me and did not sleep the two nights we were there. The walls were on the thin side and I could hear the neighbor clearly had a cold, and couldn’t stop sneezing. Luckily I brought earplugs! The bathroom was not clean at all, and the toilet really could have used some attention. There was mildew around the top of the sink and soap stains in the bathroom. It was nice to have breakfast available and the offerings were decent, but ran out frequently. I stayed at the Rockport Inn because I was in town for a wedding and the venue was already booked up. Provided my experience, I wouldn’t return if I ever had to come back to the area.…
