We stayed at the Emerson inn 3 different times this Summer for 2-4 nights at a time The Covid 19 protocols were in place and worked well We felt comfortable but safe The pool was wonderful and so so clean with testing .and guests respected the suggested limits The restaurant did have a limited menue but with options to meet the needs of the guests The view was as always spectacular and service without a fault We will return for the next season for sure
Had a wonderful two night stay at the Emerson Inn, Rockport Ma. Had a 3rd floor room with a wonderful view of the Ocean. It was so relaxing. The view, the porch, and the room was comfortable clean, and we had a wonderful spa tub. They also are handling COVID very well. Guests are physically distancing, the wait staff and guests are appropriately wearing masks. The tables, chairs S&P shakers are sanitized after every guest. We had two breakfasts there and a dinner at the Pigeon Cove Tavern - all outside on the deck that is overlooking a fantastic ire of the ocean. The are clean the banisters regularly in the staircases. They are not cleaning rooms during your stay, but have a system of you indicating what you need and leaving the dirty towels in a plastic bag and they then provide you the clean- towels soap etc in a bag by your door. I felt safe the entire time. Would definitely visit there again. …
We just spent 3 nights at the Emerson inn. We found It to be relaxing sitting by the ocean. It is a very old style inn. nothing updated. Bathroom was very small. The floor was slanted, The mattress was not comfortable. Breakfast was included, but old and cold. probably should not been included. No microwave or coffee maker, We ended up eating elsewhere. Premium price but not premium service. Would not recommend going there.
Can’t say enough about this blissful place! The location is beyond beautiful especially with an Oceanview room which Candice who was on top of everything, booked for us! Breakfast on the front porch had a varied DELICIOUS menu and Kam was the hardest working, pleasant, efficient, young man we have come across. Dinner was lovely and delicious as well! Lounging poolside overlooking the water, a jaunt down the boulders for a front and center ocean view, beautiful old inn charm everywhere, gorgeous sunset spots just around the corner and an easy ride to downtown Rockport. We will definitely return to this spot
My husband and I stayed at Emerson Inn to celebrate our anniversary in early September. We arrived on a rainy, chilly day and were pleasantly surprised when the inn upgraded our room to water view and left a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne in our room. We enjoyed an outdoor water view dinner under cover on the deck. We also enjoyed the complimentary full breakfast on the deck the next morning. If it had been better weather, we would have taken advantage of the rocking chairs on the porch. For us, the main “amenities” are the waterfront location in a quiet residential neighborhood and the ambience of an old New England inn.
