Our 10th stay at this perfect place. The best location within walking distance of all of downtown Provincetown restaurants and nightlife but on a quiet street. Beautiful rooms and the staff takes impeccable care of the grounds and rooms. Excellent cooked to order breakfast and lovely happy hour daily too.

Behind the friendliness and refinement— the front desk staff were always very nice to us, there is a unprofessional management team that is both unresponsive and dishonest. Tip #1: At check-in, DO NOT turn in your credit card without asking for an invoice and making sure those match the charges you agreed to on your original reservation. Continue to ask for invoices every morning after breakfast to ensure that any charges match your incidentals and that no ghost or unexpected charges turn up. I trusted them so I did not ask for invoices and I was overcharged behind my back. Tip #2: Also at check-in, if you have or were promised any promos, unused vouchers, credits, etc. Make sure you ask for the manager on duty, state the offers clearly and get an acknowledgement (preferably in writing) that they will be honored. We trusted them and later the credits we were promised were not applied. Tip #3: Make sure you address every complaint clearly and in-person. The front desk staff at the Crowne Pointe has been told to avoid confrontation. The cowardly management playbook is to defer, to postpone until you have checked out and left the hotel. A typical manager response goes something like this, "Let me talk to my staff" (manager knows he will not) or "Let me review our records" (manager knows he won't) "...and get back to you later" (manager knows that he will probably never get back). Tip #4: Use a credit card that you know will protect you against unauthorized charges or unfulfilled services Tip #5: At check out, ask for a printed bill and get it signed or stamped by the hotel. This is the final bill. Ask for the manager and dispute or confront immediately if you find bogus charges. Do not leave the premises until bogus charges are credited and you receive a credit slip. Like a first date that went wrong after you kissed goodbye. Smiles and humor face-to-face, betrayal and disappointment when you get home. What could have been a great experience or a 5-star review turned into a 1-star after we checked-out and uncovered the theft. After a dozen emails and phone calls (good luck getting through) over the course of 3 weeks, manager Harrie Jones (or shall we call him Bernie Jones?) eventually came back with a lame response. He still cannot explain what the extra charges on our credit card were for! He totally ignored our original reservation and the room charge credit we had arranged at the time we made the reservations. Manager Jones also went on a retaliatory attack, accusing our party of illicit behavior that he, of course, did not and has not, after two months, been able to prove. How is that possible ? Perhaps because there was no illicit behavior? Even if he believed there was illicit behavior, why is he waiting two weeks to bring up the claim in the midst of a complaint for bogus charges? why didn't manager Jones contact the authorities or address the alleged event at the time he claims it happened? Manager Jones cannot claim that "there have been photos sent to us with someone in your party displaying illicit behavior" and later ignore the customer and fail to substantiate that claim by providing those photos. Fair to say, if you follow all of the tips above, maybe (and only maybe) if the front desk happens to get all your bills right, you will have a good stay. Just remember; if you ever bring forward a complaint after checking out, the customer will NEVER be right at the Crowne Pointe Inn & Spa.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of Provincetown! Gorgeous gardens around pool, hot tub, fountains. Incredible made to order breakfast included, as well as wine and cheese happy hour. Very beautiful and comfortable room. Devin and Vince at front desk were helpful and friendly. Dinner at the Pointe restaurant was outstanding, as was the attention from Brecken and our server, Scott. This historic inn is an absolute gem!

We have made Crown Point our go to hotel in Ptown for years often going multiple times during the season. The hotel is under new ownership and management and the service and quality has declined considerable. The linens - towels, sheets, pillows were a bit shabby. The rooms and grounds were not as clean. Previously the grounds were spotless. Outdoor tables were not wiped down and pool towels were not collected. The chef for breakfast was still there thankfully, but the cleanup and prep have declined. Vince was the standout among the staff.

Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know how we're doing. I'm disappointed to hear you feel the service and management has declined from years prior. All of our linen and terry including pillows has been recently replaces. I'm sorry you didn't get to experience that on you visit this time to the cape. I appreciate the kind words spoken for Vince. I will surly share that with him. I'd love to lean more feedback from your stay - please do not hesitate in reaching out to discuss more. Harry

The grounds are charming and have a lot of character. Very comfortable. Great breakfast set up too with morning coffee. The room was spacious and also comfortable although could use a little upkeep ie: broken blinds, tarnished wall fixtures, etc. But all in all- very happy with my stay.

We consider Crowne Pointe our home away from home and stay there two times each year and it never ever disappoints. The facility, the location and staff are all exceptional. John is truly an outstanding chef as we have never had anything but great meals there. Harry is the new GM and is a great addition along with Scotty, Joe and Wes as great additions to an already outstanding staff. Ask for Eric in the spa as he is truly gifted. Housekeeping always does an excellent and timely job. We could not be happier with The Crowne Pointe as it truly is our Happy Place!

We don't traditionally have a bellhop, however, all of our team will always help with luggage. We're happy to hear you enjoyed out cooked to order breakfast and our daily social hour. It's the best location to be in the middle of everything, when you want to be on your time. We'd love to have you back anytime! -Harry
