I was fortunate to get to the Ampersand for one final visit this past September. During my stay, I particularly enjoyed the delicious aroma of hot coffe and warm baked goods in the morning. The room was spotless when I arrived and everything was exceptional. Subsequent to my stay, I browsed to the Ampersand's website which, instead of room rates...

This was my second stay at Ampersand and I feel as though I had 2 very different experiences. My first visit I stayed in the Ampersand room on the top floor. It was cozy and clean and felt private. Small bathroom but just enough space for 1 person to maneuver. The owners were friendly but distant. I never had the...

I just adored staying at Ampersand. The location is great in a very quiet and beautiful area in the West End of town, a short walk and perfect proximity to restaraunts and shops. I stayed in room # 11 and really loved it. The room had windows on 3 sides and opened directly out to a beautiful expansive garden. The...

This appealing guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area but a short walk to bustling Provincetown and its numerous boutique shops and restaurants. We stayed in the most comfortable upstairs front room, with its cathedral ceiling and sleigh king bed, the room opening directly onto the sundeck, with its expansive views of the bay. The bathroom was modest but...

On our recent trip to the states this was the worst hotel we stayed in. We upgraded as the original room was tiny but the upgraded room had a tiny bathroom and the air conditioning was too noisy to use. There was no water to drink and no toiletries apart from a bar of soap. On day 1 breakfast had...

Ampersand was the perfect get-away. We loved everything about it. Ken and Robert were the best. Absolutely the best ... The deck looking over the bay was so relaxing. The backyard garden was a work of art. The rooms could not be more comfortable. A wonderful place to stay.

The inn is for sale. That should say it all. We found the owners to be quiet cold and unfriendly. There is no AC in the main part of the house so at 90 degree it gets really hot. Deck furniture if you call it that is cheap plastic and just left stacked in a corner. The towels are like...

Booked at a great rate on Tripadvisor for 2-day stay in P-town. House was very nice - hosts Robert and Ken were wonderful. Patio set in backyard for bringing in something if you don't want to eat out a great idea. Quiet neighborhood with a 3 minute walk to all the activities of P-town. High recommend this guesthouse.

We've stayed at the Ampersand twice and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Provincetown. Robert and Ken are gracious hosts who are happy to help you, and their guesthouse is beautiful and impeccably maintained. We love staying in Room 9, right off a terrace that offers fine views of the harbor and west end--perfect for drinking our morning coffee...
