We stayed at the Sage for one night but would certainly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay right in the centre of town. It is located on Commercial Street - right next to the shops and the waterfront but yet is laid back enough not to be noisy. The rooms were perfectly equipped with all we needed and the... More

My husband and I have been to other B&B's, Inn's and Guest Houses, (Key West, Napa, Rahoboth beach, Del. Sonoma) this one doesn't fit a 4 or 5 star rating which its been given. This was our first stay in Provincetown so I can't compare it to any other place in Provincetown. However, I think a little bleach in the... More

We ate dinner at the restaurant (but didn't stay in the hotel), intending to go to a comedy show on the premises the same night. The show (Calamari Sisters, a fake cooking duo in drag) was delayed until the following night due to circumstances beyond their control, but we were given the royal treatment at dinner. Our waiter, Nate, and... More

Great little gem - perfectly located in the center of town right on Commercial Street but set back so no outside noise. Decor was current & contemporary. Our particular room had a small bathroom with toilet & stall shower - sink was next to bed...but we did notice the room across the hall had full bath (& small fridge). The... More

hi Mbuti, I don't know who you are but I bet it would be fun to spend time with you. And I am so proud of our staff. We didn't train them to be nice, friendly or funny. They came to us this way. All we did was hire them. I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to feast on... More

We booked the Sage Inn at the last moment and were very pleased. The hotel is centrally located on Commercial Street just two blocks from the pier and yet it was very quiet. The hotel is pet-friendly and has parking! (Both for an additional daily fee). We would stay here again. Rooms are pleasant, bathroom modern and updated. Housekeeping was... More

Hello CharlieDallasBoston, My partner and I are new to the hospitality business. Jeanne comes from the science world and I come from the design world. This was our first time at this relatively new Provincetown restaurant. We were intrigued by the interesting menu and the stylish dining room. Our waiter Nate was attentive and helpful in explaining items on the menu. The seafood chowder topped with a fried oyster was outstanding, the best ever. Also delicious were the lamb sliders with blueberry sauce on a... More

Musickarma, Thanks for your visit and for your review. We appreciate your sense of adventure in trying a new dining experience. I have to agree with you that the seafood chowder is the best. One reason is because it is not sitting on the stove top waiting to be ordered. It is prepared after the order has been submitted to... More

We have come to Provincetown for years and have to say that without a doubt Sage is one of the top restaurants in the area. We just recently started coming when we were in town. It is small plate - tapas with American flare. We are from the Hudson valley New York area and have many amazing restaurants. The chef... More

Lucio IS 5 stars. In fact, he has won many awards, one of which, was Best Provincetown Chef. That is quite a feat as there... More

As foodies, we love to try different restaurants each night but our dinner at Sage was so amazing, we had to come back again and again. Our server, Brian, was an absolute delight. They are known for their handcrafted original beverages and the Celery Inferno was spot on. We started with the roasted cauliflower and hummus which was wonderfully seasoned.... More

Hello Carlisle S, Thank you so much for this review. "Brian, was an absolute delight." I could not agree with you more! We are the lucky ones who get to experience him often. I think of Lucio, our Chef, as a culinary artist. And a brilliant one, at that. I think you may agree with me. He creates new specials... More

Exceptional dinner. Our server Nate offered recommendations that were spot on. Take your time and enjoy each special plate. Wines are so reasonable. Owners are delightful. Don't miss their homemade limoncello which I thought was the best I've ever had. Nate's choice for dessert was stunning. Blackberry shortcake. Icing on the cake was a free charge for our electric car.

David R, I am so happy for this review because I keep telling my friends how good my limoncello is and they just won't believe me! Now I have proof! Of course, I have Cory, our mixologist, who uses it to create the most amazing cocktails. Come on back and try his cosmopolitan with limoncello! I am so glad that... More

We loved the location. Watched the Portuguese parade from the front of Sage and walked to everything. Can't beat the location. Very friendly owners and the breakfast was good. Rooms were ok, but need a few more places to plug in phones, etc. We would stay there again. Had fun.

Thanks RuthP, Provincetown IS fun, isn't it? Provincetown is the land of festivals and the Portuguese festival is one of the best. Although Provincetown is no longer a tiny fishing village, she has a rich history of the Portuguese and the fish. Next on your list, you might try The Tennessee Williams Festival in September or Women's Week in October.... More
