The staff is great and this is what makes this place bearable. - Keith, Armond, Craig (office) and Craig (housekeeping)and the rest of the staff are wonderful. We had a weekend long wedding event, and they made the experience exceptional. Pros: - The Staff - the Entertainment. We only saw the Elton John/Billy Joel performance by John Richardson. This was great! We caught a glimpse of the drag brunch and the piano bar - both seemed great. The Negatives - We had a vast majority of the rooms. Each hotel room seemed dated and in need of a total overall. When we first walked into the hotel, the first thing you notice is how the dirty the hallway rug truly is. - The front desk hours are ODD. They never seem to be there, so if your one who likes that service, don't expect it of a normal hotel front desk. - The soda in the vending machines was rancid. We tried 3 bottles of soda, and all 3 tasted awful. - There is a tub in the suite. However, it does not work! I would think this is something you should tell the guest ahead of time and stop advertising. Each suite had a stand up shower only. - The pool bar is right underneath the suites. if your a light sleeper, your not going to bed until well after 1am. - The beds are rock hard and need to be replaced - The elevator is near the service entrance. Not the prettiest location. and LAST - rick the Owner needs a lesson in humility. We spent well over 20k in his establishment for our wedding. I introduced myself the night I arrived and he blew me off. Obviously, he does not need my business since he does not care. There are dozens of restaurants within a stone throw of the Crown and Anchor that want your business and appreciate it. Additionally, there are dozens of hotels and even more Air B&B's to choose from. Why stay here?

I just wanted to take the opportunity to say Thank You to Rick from the Crown and Anchor in Provincetown. Well planning a friend’s bachelorette party Rick was able to help me with all my questions and emails regarding reservations and purchasing tickets for their Sunday Drag Brunch. He honestly responded so quickly and made everything so smooth with the planning process! Thank you Rick for going above and beyond helping us, it’s truly appreciated more then you know!

Well where to start as I say. First upon arrival the amenities promised by one of the staff on the phone (little Ricky)were not in the room . When asked a staff ,member said he would fix it and 2 hours later I returned and it was not done. then there was the faint sewage smell in the room constant and rather gross. I was treated rather rudely by the owner out front of the place as he was "greeting" people at the property. I didnt know it was the owner until I was informed by the F/B manager of that fact (by the way the F/B manager was terrific which is why the place got 2 stars rather that 1) The owner puts on a show of caring etc when in view of the public but when out of the eye he is a rude ignorant jerk. You can actually ask anyone on the street who lives there and they will absolutely back that statement up. There are a lot of places to stay in PTOWN. This dump should not be on your list. Oh and lest I forget the place was rundown and furniture in rooms etc water damaged and kinda gross.

Rick, Armand and the crew give warm personal service and go above and beyond to make sure that everyone feels welcome and cared for when you visit the restaurant, night clubs, or stay at the delightful waterfront inn in Provincetown, MA! It is always our first choice when visiting Provincetown. The staff remember us - greet us by name and are warm and friendly. This all combined with ongoing entertainment at the club, a great on site restaurant , drag brunch, live shows onsite and dancing - and comfortable waterfront rooms with balconies overlooking a lively pool-who could ask for more!

Stayed there the weekend starting May 14th. Check in was a breeze. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and informative. Our room was very big and comfortable. The downside was our air conditioner had a mind of it's own and worked sporadically. There was never any one at the front desk though that I could complain to. I slept very poorly because the room stayed pretty warm at night.
