As I write this I’m on the road back to PTown, to my favourite vacation spot on the Cape - The Anchor Inn Beach House. This will be my third visit this year to Provincetown, and I always look forward to staying here. The Rooms are fantastic, and truly give off such a great Cape Cod vibe. The King Studio with Ocean View is a must. Make sure to book in advance as there’s only a few of these rooms. Even during all the carnage of 2020 with COVID, this Hotel get’s a lot of business. It’s one of those places you know you’ll want to book again even before you’ve left. The upkeep and cleanliness here is of a high standard. The huge jacuzzi bath tub is a bonus too. All round great stay every time.

So reassuring to see the owners taking the pandemic seriously; social distancing, staff and owners wearing masks, etc. Right on Commercial Street with shops within walking distance, beautiful water view from the balcony, relaxing atmosphere, large room with comfy chairs and a sofa. Some obvious wear in spots; scratches on the floor, the wood tub surround could use a coat of fresh paint, stains on the decorative trunk that serves as a coffee table, etc. In off-season, there's a minimal Continental breakfast available - go next door to Bayside Betsy's for a more substantial meal.. The Anchor Inn is one of our regular stops on Cape Cod.

This is our favorite place to stay in Provincetown. It’s conveniently located on Commercial Street, so everything is just a short walk. The rooms on the back give great views of the water, and the rooms in front are great for people watching, parade watching, etc. We usually stay in the back and spend time on the rockers out front on the porch to get the best of both worlds. Chris and Michael are always very accommodating and helpful to make your stay enjoyable. Their super friendly chocolate labs Molly and Bo are the welcome wagon to great you when you check in. We’ve been staying here for about 6 years now and definitely recommend it!

Overall a good experience. Great location and view from ocean side rooms. Rooms were clean but definitely in need of some attention and updates. Was expecting a more welcoming staff from a small family place. P-town is known for friendly and welcoming people. I didn’t get that feeling

The room was clean and the location perfect! We choose this place for location and for the amenities . Jacuzzi, fireplace .... planned on a romantic evening. Fireplace didn’t work, hot water in jacuzzi was brown, and even the tv didn’t work. Tried filling and emptying the tub many times .... no luck. Asked about a price adjustment and was told we would here back later on that day. Two days later , no phone call , no email. And NO adjustment . Disappointed ...
