This hotel was so accommodating and personable. It was pet friendly and impeccably clean. The clerk at the desk was genuinely nice and very informative. The pool was gorgeous only Covid restrictions were in place. Beautiful rooms. We will return. Got to see a lot of the Mayflower attractions.
When I called the main number to see what the availability and amenities were the lady specifically told me that there was a hot breakfast provided. That was not the case, which I did not find out until the next morning. If I had known this ahead of time I could’ve made arrangements to get breakfast elsewhere. I was also told that the pool was available. When I got to the check-in desk, I was handed a welcome letter that also stated that the pool was open, and it listed the times. Not only was it listed, but the section about the pool was specifically highlighted. When I came back that evening and went to use the pool I learned that it was shut down. I was also told that I was getting a balcony view at the time of purchase, however, when I got there I was told that there were no balcony views available, even though I had already reserved the balcony view. As far as the room itself, it was pretty decent other than a hair clip on the side of the bureau from the previous occupant and debris behind the main door. This is not a huge deal, however, it did make my wife uncomfortable. She felt as though the room had not been cleaned thoroughly considering they did not notice these things. We stay in Plymouth once or twice a year and this was our first time trying this hotel. Unfortunately I am quite disappointed with these issues. I understand that this is a difficult time and changes were made based on that, however if I was told about these things ahead of time, I could have made arrangements accordingly. I was given one story over the phone, but received something different when I got there. It was too late to go somewhere else so I had to deal with it.…
over priced for what you get. hidden fees, old rooms. stayed here last year and it was awesome, now not so much. will not be staying here again i am not sure what happened but it is not the same as it was in the past
We had a nice suite overlooking the pool, spacious and comfy. Having the suite was great for getting take-out since many restaurants are booked fast because of covid. Nice bed and comfy couch for sleeping. Great pool, like a tropical oasis in the atrium. Clean and nice, friendly staff.
Great staff, nice clean rooms...Only problem with your bar not bwing open amd some amenities being unavailable you can't charge a full price, because of that reason but they do anyway...open the bar and the rest of the hotel and then charge full price...if you went to a restaurant and only got half the food you paid for, would you pay full price? No
