A few years ago I went here for a weekend getaway with my mom and had the best time. Walking distance of many sites, stores and food places. We didn't what to do first. Go exploring or take advantage of the fun indoor pool. Even got to experience my first spa treatment. Highly recommended for a family or solo escape.... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW

I went away with my family and extended family for a weekend away. All four of our rooms forgot to ask for us to have rooms together. When I arrived the front desk staff was friendly and super helpful. Not only did they take the time to rearrange rooms so that the 4 of our rooms could be together, but... More

After a wedding in downtown Plymouth 40 guests stayed at the John Carver Inn and were greeted the next morning with a delicious breakfast buffet. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. A nice ending to our wedding weekend. Thank you John Carver Inn!

Staff was helpful(I.e. Got lost going to pool(need to improve signing). Room was nice and clean. Again staff friendly. Chairs in Room were very uncomfortable and the heating unit was noisy. Bed was fine except if you are short(had to climb over over the frame to get in).

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the John Carver Inn. We stayed in one of the fireplace Suite with an adjoining sitting area. We were able to set up a pack and play for our two year old daughter. The pool area was a lot of fun, but is better suited to kids who can swim. The... More

We stayed here in three rooms in October (prime leaf peeping time). This hotel caters to bus tours, so a lot of people only stayed one night here. We stayed five nights. The hotel has a nice restaurant. The staff were okay, didn't feel very welcoming. The pool is awesome. However the pool water-slide doesn't open until noon, so that... More

Dear AshleyAtwood, Thank you for your review. I am sorry about the Water slide not being open during the day due to our lack of Lifeguards. We do have staff on at night so that we can do our best to get the kids and adults into our slide. Our local board of health mandates that we need to have... More

Great position. spacious room with comfortable beds. The room was at the back and rather dark but quiet. The colonial style is not to our taste but we understand why it is done here. The lighting was difficult with lots of lamps, all with different switches. The electric heater was noisy and right under the curtains which blew around wildly. We could not... More

As part of our New England tour we stopped here. I was last here 35 years ago! We arrived early morning and were still able to check-in. Plenty of trolleys to take our luggage to our room. The room itself was comfortable. There was a bar and restaurant but nowhere to just sit and relax. This is an ideal base... More
