Spent a wonderful evening here...celebrating our anniversary. We totally felt like we were in a chateau in the Loire valley! Immaculate, and decorated so beautifully for fall. Bar was exceptional.. We had a great dinner, and the staff, knowing we were celebrating a special event made an effort to secure us a romantic table. Our room was spotless, and very cozy with a gas fireplace. Loved the spa sounds and aromatherapy clocks.. in fact, I ordered one for myself after this trip. We plan on returning for a longer stay, and using the spa next time... Thank you everyone for a wonderful time.

Simply put the Mirbeau is the most amazing facility in all of New England! From the peaceful and well equipped spa, to the incredibly friendly staff and the delicious artisan food offered in the Bistro, the Mirbeau has it all. We have been coming here for the last 6+ years in a row and will always make a few trips to the Mirbeau every year. We absolutely love it and cannot rave about it enough. You cannot go wrong with a trip to Mirbeau!

Some parts of the stay and spa were great - others were not due to poor communication and lack of customer service. really depends on who is working to get the best experience - can literally be night and day

While it's disappointing to find out that your experience was less than ideal for you, we do use your feedback to improve guest experiences. I'm sorry to hear that you feel the guest experience varies depending on the staff present. We train our staff to meet the same standards, and we all work hard to provide guests a great experience in the spa, restaurant, rooms and event venues. Hopefully you enjoyed Mirbeau overall. Take care!

The additions to the spa looked beautiful (though we didn’t do a service this trip). And the common areas were well stocked with sanitizer and everyone was masked. They also had a temperature check at the door. The food at the restaurant was delicious and service was friendly but very very slow. The rooms, however, were dated and unclean. Fingerprints on fireplace. Hair in the tub. HVAC caked in dirt. Phone to call room service was grimey. Cobwebs in the corner. Bathroom paint was chipped in numerous places. Subpar even pre-covid for a $500 room and very disappointing after being assured numerous times that cleanliness and sanitation protocols were being stepped up. We’d come back for the spa when we felt comfortable but wouldn’t spend the money on staying the night again.

As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about our customers. Our property is only 6 years old, is Forbes Recommended, AAA 4-Diamond, and family-owned -- facts we are proud of, and we will strive to live up to those standards. Safe travels!
