We had a very lovely stay at Narragansett House. India & her staff were very accommodating. We had a bottle of Prosecco & a card waiting for us in the room. It was clean and welcoming. The breakfasts and afternoon treats were scrumptious. The room was cozy and very island-y. It’s centrally locates to all Oak Bluffs has to offer. We will be back! Karen & Tom
Stayed at Narragansett House in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard with family for 2 nights. Very very friendly staff. Received by India who was exceptionally helpful. Beautiful cottage, picture postcard. Rooms comfortable. Had some issues with AC but that was sorted out promptly by Omar who lives on the premises. A good man, again very helpful. Decent breakfast. Overall, a wonderful experience
Fantastic boutique style hotel in the east location in Oak Bluffs. So close to all the main restaurants, activities, Inkwell Beach and the pier. The moment we walked in we were amazed by the welcoming decor and the immediate hospitality. They even called us before our arrival to ask if there was anything they could do to better prepare for our arrival! The room was divine - very clean and quaint and the perfect setting for a weekend getaway in the vineyard. The breakfast was great and plentiful with lots of fresh coffee. Favourite memories include relaxing on the rocking chairs on the porch before and after dinner. Staff was always available to ask questions and offer suggestions on things to do and see. We will definitely be back to stay at the Narragansett House next time we are in Martha's Vineyard! Thanks for the great stay!…
We were in town over the summer to celebrate a friend's birthday during a long weekend on the Vineyard. We booked the Narragansett House on a recommendation and were very happy with our stay. It's not the Ritz, but then again, it's not trying to be. This is a bed and breakfast style hotel, with the feeling of a stay at a friend's summer home. The rooms are small but clean. Ours had a bathroom and shower, along with an air conditioner and television. The owner was a very, very nice woman named Jane who you'd find at the desk in the mornings. But, by far the best thing about the hotel was the location. You are literally feet from downtown Oak Bluffs and all of its restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again.
I have been coming to Martha's Vineyard for decades and I have been staying at the Narragansett House for decades also. The decor is traditional, whimsical New England. The continental breakfast of muffins, cakes, coffee, and juice is very fresh and scrumptious! I love that staying at the Narragansett House, there is easy walking to the central places in Oak Bluffs. There is also parking. Jane and her husband are such gracious, thoughtful and helpful hosts. This is one of my favorite annual trips.
