The views over the marina are pretty and the staff really friendly. The restaurant is very nicely done out and the food is pretty good too. Not sure it’s quite worth the price paid but it was good. The fresh local clams came in a massive bowl and we shared them with some

I stayed here this fall for a week, and quite enjoyed myself. Everything is clean and modern. Quaint garden in back, with hot tub at side. Nice selection of breakfast food--and fruit, yogurt, hot chocolate, etc., available all day long. The staff was the best thing--very

The Dockside Inn is in the prime location for the island. The hotel is within a close and walkable distance from the ferry and it is in the heart of restaurants and shopping. Our room had a gorgeous view overlooking the water. When we arrived, the owner of the hotel, John

This is one of the best places to stay on Martha's Vineyard. Can't beat the location (right near Oak Bluffs Harbor and downtown), and the rooms are clean and cozy. The staff make you feel super welcome - its obvious they are shooting for repeat customers. Highly recommend this

The workers at The Dockside Inn were extremely nice, my view was great, perfect location, and the room was very comfortable..from the bed to the air conditioning. Before and after checkout they let me use their beach chairs and coolers, which was very much appreciated.

can you walk to a nice beach ?
Oh, absolutely! Just one block from the Dockside Inn is a five mile long nearly uninterrupted beach along Nantucket Sound stretching from Oak Bluffs to Edgartown, including the famous "Jaws Bridge" and beach. And the Dockside has complimentary beach chairs, coolers, and towels for guest use!

Will the Rolls Royce be fixed by Labor Day
I just booked room # 21 Please share any opinions regarding this room. Thank you
I'm not positive which specific room I had other than that it was on the second floor. I found it to be very quiet and peaceful with a lovely porch sitting area outside to take in the sunset. The room had everything you would expect for a vacation destination. I know that the hotel was sold out the time I was there so I thought it might be extra crowded but it never felt crowded or like people were sitting on top of each other. There was a little excitement as the ferry would arrive, but nothing close to being a nuisance. Loved my stay here!
