We just returned from a 3-night stay at Starlight while in the Pioneer Valley for a family get-together and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations - and the hospitality of John and Dee at Starlight.

I enjoyed the adventure of getting here, the lovely owners, the excellent breakfast, the animals wandering around the property and hearing the coyotes at night from the comfort of a warm bed. The room is no frills (as you would expect for an off the grid B&B) and perhaps a bit overpriced and the signage for the property is a...

Staying on the farm was amazing. If you are an animal lover, you will surely love this place! The owners were great, and even gave us a little tour of the property. Silent at night, with a great view of the stars on a clear night.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here. The owners are great at communicating, and made us feel very welcome. In addition to llamas, there are all sorts of other cute creatures, including some very majestic peacocks. It's wonderful that the entire place is solar powered. The location is also great- you feel like you're deep in the woods...

Thanks Elena, We are so pleased that you and your friends enjoyed your stay and the vegan breakfast. We are also glad that you noted Musante Beach which is less than 2 miles away and an easy place to hang out. About two years ago we watched a bald eagle on the edge of that Reservoir having its lunch! When...

My family and I have been staying at Starlight off and on for the past 6 or so years. It is a very unique and wonderful place. My kids love looking at the unusual animals Dee and John reside with their place out in the woods, very close to the bustling community of Northampton. It is refreshing in this day...

I can honestly say that I have never returned from a weekend trip more relaxed, refreshed, and inspired to reduce my ecological footprint on the planet. John and Dee have created a simple, yet simply welcoming, retreat combining farm, woods, and wildlife (How have I lived 53 years without hearing the intoxicating sound of an emu drumming?). There is WiFi,...

My fiance and I stayed here for two nights over Memorial Day weekend in 2014. There are three available rooms and we stayed in the one closest to the kitchen. John and Dee checked us in and we knew right away we had made the right choice - they were so warm and welcoming. Downtown Northampton is about a ten...

Me and my now Fiance were so excited to get to Starlight Llama Bed and Breakfast. John and Dee are 2 of the most caring and honest individuals we have ever met. This was our first bed and breakfast but certainly not our last. We cannot wait to visit again in the Spring and Summer.
